Like sleeping in an ashtray

Entered the room to be hit with a wall of cigarette smoke. The window had obviously been left open to "air out" the room which was clearly designated and promoted as non-smoking. The window screen had a giant hole in it. Couch missing cushions. No blanket on bed. Would never go back.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately some guests will smoke in a non-smoking room. When this is discovered they are charged for this, but the room should have been put out of order for cleaning and shampooing. I will definitely look into why this proceedure was not followed. Extra charge for first floor

I booked this hotel thru expedia. I don't recall seeing an area where I CAN request first floor since they are no elevators. When I arrived and I requested first floor because my husband has a bad back and climbing stairs is painful, they wanted to charge me $10 more. I found that appalling. I said that it was discriminating that they would want to charge people with disabilities extra because they wanted to be on the first floor. The front desk clerk did not charge me but did say "next time" I would need to pay. It is strange that between on Dec 28 I stayed at the Travelodge on Lakeshore and requested first floor and there was no mention of an extra charge. Travelodge Airport should review their policies. Other than that the room was clean, the pool was clean.

Pros: Ground floor rooms have patio doors to outside. Easy access to our vehicle and to let the dog out.
Cons: There is a section of the hotel that smells like smoke.
Location: perfect location for drive through, over night stay. A lot of local restaurants near by.
The hotel is older, and some parts smell like cigarette smoke. Stayed there because they allowed dogs. Room on the ground floor with patio door was very handy. Kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. They have a nice light breakfast included. Staff was very friendly!

Pleasant stay.

Pros: Like having a pool and hot tub year round. Enjoy the breakfast every morning.
Cons: Heat should be on when you arrive in the room. Very brisk when we arrived.
Location: Easy access and nice location for shopping and seeing the city.
Quiet room with nice pool and hot tub at a decent price. Decent list of movies available as well as some local and regional tv. Overall an enjoyable stay.

After booking and paying expedia online i was required give a security deposit of $25 upon checking in. It was returned on checkout. Problem with the door card/door lock. Repeated trips and tries. The desk clerk came withh extra cards and managed to open door.

The hotel wasn't bad but the pool area was awful. The pool itself was so cold that one of my children wouldn't even go in. My other child did go in and came out very itchy and full of hives. The hot tub was too hot, even for the adults who were in the pool area.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback. The pool heater is being repaired, but the chemicals were within the health regulations. So I am unsure why this would have happened. The spa temperature is taken every hour and is kept 1-2 degrees below the guidelines at all times. Regards, Kathy

Pros: Ground floor rooms had walk out patio doors
Cons: Better mattresses
Location: The driveway is tucked around off a Main Street, better and bigger signage would be helpful.
The smell of marijuana lingered the hallways in the non smoking hotel.

Nice hotel and facilities

Great service and the complementary breakfast as good, the Hut tub and pool area where the selling feature of my stay at the hotel. Not a lot of hotels have still a Hut tub. Overall I had a good stay.

I will look into you not having a shower curtain, it may have been removed and they forgot to go back to replace it.
