Ants and possibly bed bugs

Posted Sep 13, 2017
Pros: location
Cons: a general updating and pest control
They were great about switching me to a different room after numerous bites from ants and possibly bed bugs (not seen, but bite marks were).

Comfy room and very good breakfast

Posted Sep 8, 2017
Cons: Landscape cleanup.
The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The hotel and area was also quiet. My only issue was that the grounds/landscape could use some mowing and trimming.

This is my second time staying with them. Very cute hotel with beautiful natural views. Quiet and comfortable and not so far from the tourism spots.

Pretty decent room for a nice price

Posted Aug 25, 2017
Pros: Nice enough room and good price. Free parking, park your own car.
Cons: Replace old toilets with elongated bowls--more comfortable.
Location: About 10 minutes to downtown I guess
I've stayed here several times because it's a good combination of price and comfort. It's like a lot of small apartments I had before I got a house. Small kitchen with fridge/oven, etc. It's a little dated and could use some touch ups on paint, etc., but that doesn't really affect your comfort. One thing they really should do is get rid of the tiny round bowl toilets and put in some with elongated bowls. That's about the only complaint I have. It takes a little while to get downtown, but if you don't want to pay $50-$100 more and then pay for parking on top of that, and have to wait for the valet to get your car, then this is a great choice.

Date Night!!

Posted Aug 21, 2017
Pros: The home-away-from home atmosphere, and peace/quiet; very relaxing. I had the best night's sleep!!
Cons: No improvements needed at this time; if it ain't broke; don't fix it!!
Location: Great eateries near the hotel; depending what you fancy. Also, easy access to them. There were lots of small strip malls near the hotel also.
It was fantastic!!! We stayed here last year right after Thanksgiving, and loved it. We were in town for a Jazz concert, and selected this hotel via price line. Boy, were we surprised when it turned out to be a GREAT choice. We have friends in the Austin area, who tried to steer us in an area near the concert, due to holiday traffic, but we didn't budge. Thank God for sticking to our guns. Now, Habitat is our go to place whenever we're in the Austin area. Great staff, delicious, healthy breakfast, and beautiful scenery. It's that home, away from home atmosphere, that keeps us coming back. Don't change a thing, it's working!!! We look forward to our next visit!!!
