Stay away

Room was not clean. A cigarette burn on bed cover. They won't clean room or provide towels unless u pay extra.

Adequate at best

Pros: Price, location
Cons: Cleanliness, especially outside areas.
Location was OK, parking OK, parking lot and outside areas trashy. Staff was efficient, although not overly friendly. Sheets and towels were clean but room had dust, webs, etc., in corners. Large refrigerator was a plus. As I mentioned in the title, this room was adequate and the price was low. OK for a quick overnight in Charleston but I'd rather have a room that was a bit cleaner. They need a deep clean on the outside as well, trash was stored under the stairwells which gave the place a "unique odor". Think I'll pick a different hotel next time I'm in Charleston.

Room was clean. Staff was nice. Great location. Outside appearance could be fixed up a little better.

Smokey and dirty, bugs included.

Cons: demolition and reconstruction
Non-smoking room smelled like smoke, roaches, flies, what's not tolike. There were no plates or utensils (at checkout they mentioned you had to ask for them - no one said anything at check-in.) Very run-down. Drawer-bottoms were missing from the chest of drawers, so don't expect to unpack.

Pros: location and price
Cons: better continental breakfast
Location: Walmart, fast food, outlet stores
just a quick trip and this place was perfectly located... to the venue as well as a Walmart and outlets.

Easy access to freeway but that is it!

Easy access from freeway. Staff at front desk was pleasant. The room smelled so bad. Even a can of Glade Air freshener wasn't enough to cover the smell. Only stayed 2 nights and that was difficult at best. Was here with other couple and their room was just as bad. I would not recommend this place. A real disappointment for the Extended Stay Brand.

Needs better service

Pros: Good thing was that it was close to the outlet malls.
Cons: Keep some utensils in the cuppord, provide more refreshments in the room, provide better breakfast.
Location: Outlet mall was close by.
The service needs to be improved. There was no pots or pans, cups, and other utensils in the drawer. We had to always go to front desk and ask for it. There was no tea bags,only coffee. Bed sheets had an odour.

There was trash in my room. There was urine in the toilet. There was no soap or any of the complementary items.

Affordable hotel

Pros: The swimming pool and the bed.
Cons: Maintenance
Location: Red Lobster restaurant was nearby.
Pool was nice. Bed was comfortable. Was not able to connect to WiFi.

PLEASANT OPTION

Cons: Having an ice machine. The receptionist said they don't have one since rooms have a kitchen. But, it would take all night to make your own ice.
Location: "Musts" to visit: the state's Capitol Complex, the city market, admiring the gorgeous vintage office & public buildings and churches downtown
For the economical price, I was pleasantly surprised at the huge size of the rooms and the very quiet location. While I did not use anything but the fridge and microwave, for a family in particular, having use of a fully-equipped kitchen would certainly be a very big drawing point.
