Room needs updating

Pros: Lobby personnel was nice.
Cons: Update the room and do a better job with cleanliness.
Location: Close to downtown and the outlet mall.
This room was poor quality for the price. The sheets had holes, the telephone and tv controller didn't work and the room was not clean. about a dozen people were having a party in the rooms and balcony above us.

Stay Due Hurricane

Due to the hurricane emergency we had to stay at this hotel as almost all hotels were sold. The room smelt of pure humidity, the whole room had a bad and unpleasant smell. The next day we asked to change rooms and extend the stay since we could not return to Florida by Hurricane Irma, and they told us that we could not do the extension because they had already sold all the rooms. In every hotel you have the right to extend the stay before your departure, but these hotels take advantage of any circumstances to earn money and abuse customers. Instead of doing what you can to stay and get the room, they do not care. How can you give a customer service chair to hotel staff who probably work there without any motivation? This is the kind of companies that disappear.

Great for construction workers

- arrived to construction workers staying next to us who appeared to just finish there day. Cracked a beer in doorway and beer went all over there walkway and continued to flow over in there rooms floor. - about five ducks also greeted us in the outside walk path. Poop everywhere! - inside the room we seen about five cockroach. - went to call front desk for wifi and room phone wasnt hooked up. - light next to bed wasnt hooked up. - tubs water never would turn off. - stains on under sheets. - t.v. was flat screen with cable but looked like 80s tube tv with all the lines through it.

Not the greatest but definitly not the worst

Pros: Clean rooms
Cons: The outside doors were a little old, needed to be replaced.
Location: Outlet stores.
This hotel seemed to be a little older, but appers that managment is doing a fair job of trying to clean up. The continental breakfast is what you would expect from a hotel, but at least had a good selection of options. All of the staff that I had contact were friendly and helpful. The biggest plus for me is now matter how old or run down a place is as long as it's clean, and this hotel meet that. All in all not a bad place to stay, if I am in the area again I will consider staying there.

Run down third rate hotel

Nothing has been update in this hotel for what looks like years. The staf tried to be helpful, but the room was just not nice. The room my son checked into smelled so bad with water leaking from the a/c that he had to move. This hotel should not be recommended.

Blind-sided

I just moved to Charleston and had to stay in a hotel while I waited to my home to be ready. I had never been to Charleston, so I just trusted what the representative recommended. It was horrible. The hotel had loads of people loitering outside, smoking weed and doing who knows whatever else. The people were sketchy looking and the room was really old. For what they charge, I was expecting something much nicer. I will never refer anyone there. The staff was very friendly though!

OLD and SMELLY

Location: Near the outlet mall and airport.
