Overrated.

I should have listened to the reviews that it is an outdated hotel. The room smelled damp and hadn't been dusted in a while and couch and carpet needed cleaned. We almost ran out of toilet paper, there was no extra roll anywhere, the tissue box was empty and not one of three waste baskets and begs in them! I don't k ow how to rate the staff because on one talked to us except the clerk at the desk who was pleasant enough. Should not be rated a 3.5 star hotel. The positives were that the bed was comfortable and the room temperature pleasant and the shower was decent. Would be a nice hotel with updates and housekeeping who knows how to clean and stock the rooms.

Hotel Needs Attention

I have stayed in alot of Sheraton Hotels so I had an expectation. Was quite dissappointed. Hotel very dated, rusted frame on mirror in room, sofa in room very old, bed not at all comfortable. Bed feels dirty and creepy. Bedside table dirty. Did not feel welcoming, room stale and dated. Pictures on webite very misleading. I was depending on Expedia making a good choice for me and I was very disappointed by room and hotel.

Beds recently replaced with very firm mattresses

Pros: It's very quiet.
Cons: Club room amenities. Beds need to be less firm and comfortable.
Location: North Columbus, close to Polaris and Easton.
Check in was superb. When we got to the room we realized we were given a king size bed suite instead of a suite with two doubles due to what we learned later was Expedia's overbooking of rooms. The hotel front desk supervisor and front desk manager both indicated this has been an on-going problem despite repeated communication with Expedia. The bed was definitely not we have been accustomed to, we found out after complaining about this that the previous mattresses were recently replaced with very firm mattresses. The bed was very uncomfortable, feeling pain sleeping in any position; on our backs, sides or stomachs. Attempted to seek a room with the older beds, at first all appeared as if this would go smoothly but it ended up being a hassle to do so and with Expedia's assistance none were found but we accepted another room with a slightly less firm bed (probably used a bit more). During this process I asked to speak with a hotel manager and was refused. Problems with this process were communicated to the front desk supervisor and front desk manager. The supervisor and manager both indicated a complete renovation of the hotel will occur early 2018 which will include new beds to replace the ones recently replaced. I was also told the hotel manager was on vacation and the front desk clerk failed to seek the assistance of another manager. I was assured these issues would be corrected.

Not a bad stay...

Older hotel that has an upcoming $8M renovation, that is badly needed. That said, the hotel isn’t bad. The staff is excellent and the rooms nice. The workout facility is also good. I’d stay here again. Once the renovation is completed, for sure!

Good hotel

Staff was very nice. The room was above my expectations with plenty of workspace and clean. Location was easy to find with a movie theater and food options within a short walking distance. Only issue would be price of food, but that’s to be expected. This place was worth the price.

nice size suite for weekend

Pros: room size. front desk.
nice room. only issue was plugged bathtub drain and caulking around tub was in disrepair giving cosmetic poor appearance.

BEG BUG ALERT

WE DID A ROOM CHECK. THERE WERE EHITE STAINS ALL OVER THE FURNITURE AS WELL AS A BED BUG WHEN WE LIFTED UP THE PILLOW. CRAWLING. ALIVE. GROSSS!!! VERY DIRTY AND UNCOMFORTABLE SLEEPING BC U HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BUGS CRAWLING ON YOU. They did offer another set of sheets, then I refused and had to beg for a new room. No type of free stay all we got was a “sorry”. Will never return. I wish I had a photo!!!! Was so shocked didn’t even think to take one

Expected better

Cleanliness of room was disappointing, hadn't been swept well in a long time, behind doors to the bedroom. Shower tiles were cracked, and water backed up in the tub while showering. Water pressure and temp were lacking.
