Lovely hotel in breathtaking location

Other than getting lost due to faulty printed directions, we were delighted with the beautiful hotel-inside and out. We had a delicious dinner in the tavern where we were made to feel very welcomed and at home by our waiter. We hiked from the hotel to Echo Lake the next morning and took many pictures. I wish we could've stayed more than one day .

Pros: Clean, friendly, and not far from home.
We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I wish we could have stayed another night, but hopefully we will be back again.

Cons: The temperature control was a bit noisy and could be upgraded.
Very nice hotel. Beautiful views and wonderful atmosphere.

We had an amazing stay. Hotel grounds were beautiful! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the rooms need some updating and there was a wedding whenwe were there and it was very loud at night for the kids to be able to get to sleep and stay asleep.

Beautiful location

The hotel sits below a stunning ledge of rock nestled far from the main hustle and bustle of North Conway. It was only a short drive but felt quiet and secluded. The hotel had all the amenities we needed, including a lovely restaurant and bar. The restaurant has stunning views across the mountains, but as we were a party of five we were not allowed to sit by the window which was disappointing. In our rooms, we had a keurig coffee maker, which we didn't use, a TV, fridge and two comfortable double beds. The bathroom had plenty of towels and delightfully, aveda products (my products of choice at home too). A nice touch. Staff were very personable, especially the bar and restaurant staff. Our waiter, Evan, from the first night, came over to chat to us the second day to see how our day had been. Overall, a fabulous hotel experience.

A really great friendly hotel with fantastic food

We stayed here for four nights in July . The staff in particular are very helpful and the food in the restaurant is the best had experienced across the 5 hotels we stayed at in New England. Our waitress was brilliant and we feel like old friends now. So good hotel in a great position also with a lovely golf course next door.

Great views and pool, but not helpful staff.

Pros: pool is very nice and heated. Nice view
Location: not far from storyland and outlets, which was nice
Disappointing when travelling with children. They don't have any microwaves available in rooms or available for guests to warm up food or bottles. We have a dietary restriction and as a result brought catered, sealed TV dinners. Refused to warm them up for us using some nonsense story about liability (although the majority of hotels even have microwaves in the hotel rooms and those that don't have a communal one). Would not stay there again unless great deal compared to similar hotels in the area.

Prime location set away from the main strip

Cons: On our last night, we wanted to sit by the fire and enjoy ourselves. There was a man named Dennis who was less than friendly and attentive to fire.
My daughter and I stayed last Saturday and Sunday nights and we felt like we were in heaven almost. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was perfect and the view was awesome. We were set away from all the hustle and bustle and the views were second to none. I would definitely stay here again. This was my first trip away in 9 years and I have to say I left with absolutely nothing on my mind. I was at peace.

Nice resort next to beautiful scenery and hikes

Stayed 2 nights. Good complimentary breakfast and did the hike connected to resort with great views. Conveniently located next to North Conway and white mountain highway
