The room was disgusting and was not clean. There was a horrible smell emanating from the room.

It was literally the last room available in the area for an unscheduled overnight stay so we were happy to get it. Staff was accommodating and pleasant enough. The room looked clean but did smell mildewey. Turned out to be the fabric shower curtain. The drawers could not be opened because the handles were on the inside of the drawer (my husband pried one open with a key). And when I went to shower in the morning there was a bug (looked like a roach but I am no expert) in the shower. The room did look like it was recen redecorated but the smell and bug were very discouraging

This place is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in...where do I begin? The rooms were disgusting and dirty. The front manager is is incredibly rude. The smell is nauseating when you walk through the front door. Abandoned vehicles in parking lot with flat tires.... There is obvious prostitiution/drug activity going on there. It is situated behind a Marriott so nobody is paying attention to this shady business. Rude manager started knocking on my door at 9 am (check out is 11) asking me when I was leaving. He said his staff had to go to class so he needed me to leave. I said check out is 11....he came back to my room several more times telling me to leave...He said " I will explain to you like a child, you have to leave because my staff has to go to school...." UNREAL!! Top 3 adjectives to describe this place: Filty, Rude(harrassing actually) unprofessional, STAY AWAY...

Pros: Breakfast was what I see in most hotels
Cons: truck in parking lot needs to be removed. Non-slip should be added to tub. Fix drainage of tub.
After reading the rewiews I was apprehensive about staying at this hotel. They need to have the broken down truck from the parking lot. This is the first thing people see and this sets the tone for your stay. The queen size bed was not what I would call queen size but was confortable. The sink did not hold water so it was hard to shave, and the bath tub did not empty so you where standing in water, and there should be some type of non slip features added to tub so you would not slip.

Room and hotel were clean. When my brother was waiting out front he said multiple hotel employees were yelling and forced them to move. We were astonished to hear this. The rest of the week we stayed next door at the Marriott were they were treated much better.

Cons: If what we saw in terms of ongoing improvements was an indication this will be a 4.0+ property by end of 2015 - new owners recently assumed property!!
Location: Great locale to New Bedford and general area
"Acceptable" if I could leave one word. Property is being revamped - a Holiday Inn EX-P's or Best Western's level would have had 100% upgraded rooms and a operational pool (was empty here). The adv. queen beds were actually doubles - pretty "cozy" for us as a couple let's say. Breakfast was the Holiday Inn Ex-P norm (which wasn't posted here in Expedia, and was a ++ surprise on arrival!) and satisfactory with enough restocking/attention by staff (++) and the front desk staff was better then most, so we gave them a 3.25 to 3.5 on our scale of 1-5 (we're also inn owners - not big complainers) It wouldn't have been our first pick, but on the 4th of July it worked out OK and being clean went a long way!

well first of all it was advertised that it had a pool,no pool the air conditioner in the room didnt work properly,and the tv was not cable ready,I believe it was working off of an antenna,so all in all was not satiisfied with the stay!!
