Old, Dirty, located in an alley

Posted Feb 9, 2014 on Hotels
Looks very much different from pictures. No computer at reception desk, bookings were recorded manually on a notebook. Reception desk was very friendly but comfort is the most important thing of a hotel stay. The room smells bad and everything looks very old. The carpet looks like haven't been vacuumed for a very long time, all corners surrounding are black and full of dust. There are mildew on the walls and ceiling. Especially the curtain blinds in the washroom, it is FULL of --- full of mildews.

Poor Accomodation

Posted Dec 23, 2013 on Hotels
It was only a night stay. Service was bad as the hotel staff did not notice us when we stepped in the lobby. The room was in very bad condition with wallpaper peeling off and the sheets weren't clean, we actually had to resort to our sleeping bags. Housekeeping was not thorough, one that was not acceptable was the mat by the toilet. It was wet and dirty.

Make sure you have your translation book!

Pros: everything!
Cons: A little more english available.
Location: Plenty to do! Although english speakers must have directions written in chinese.
Great position, groovy little room and a great breakfast. Although the staff unable to speak english and its signage is Chinese, so difficult to spot from the road. We had a great time.

Posted Jan 28, 2016
Cons:
