Nice hotel, location however isn't the best

Experience was pleasing, room was clean, staff was professional and helpful. I really appreciated the breakfast option.

Pros: The staff was excellent, and the food during the breakfast was good as well.
Cons: I would recommend they check the expiration of the items in the small store and vending machines a little more often.
Location: North East, Maryland has many antique shops, and seafood restaurants available. It is also rich in history and close to many sites.
Beautiful rooms in newly remodeled settings. The breakfast was really good, and so was the mattress in my room! Great price for a great room!

it got the job done. but we were disappointed in a few things. we need to do laundry badly but the dryer was completely broken, with the drum taken out. all ice makers were not working which is odd, and I checked every floor to find out. the pool was closed and being renovated, it is understandable. the breakfast was not very good either comparing to other similar hotel chains providing continental breakfast.

Thank you for your feed back regarding your recent stay. Our guest dryer did need replacing, and as we were waiting for the new one to come in, all guests were welcome to use the staff dryers upon request. Our first floor ice machine is located directly across from the elevator and is operational. We strive to continually improve our hotel and the guests experiences and will take your feedback into consideration as we plan our breakfast offerings.

Hallway smells of cigarettes smoke and the breakfast was awful

We apologize for the smell of the hallways. We do offer smoking rooms and strive to keep the smell limited in public areas as much as we can. We are also experimenting with different offerings on breakfast, and your feedback will help us determine what our next steps are in that area.

Air conditioner didn't work they did take ?50.00 off but we were out in the heat for 6hours

Didn't know pool and hot tub unusable

Disappointed and basically unhappy with sticky carpets outdated fitness equipment and inability to use pool and hot tub

We apologize that our pool and hot tub are currently out of service. We are conducting a complete renovation in the pool area and expect to have it completed within the next few weeks. Our rooms and fitness center are also on schedule to receive renovations.

Not what I usually get from best western.

First did not know you allow smoking in motel, room smelled like dirty ash tray. Bath room very dated. Towels had yellow stains. Mattress was in poor condition. Ice machine not working. I was really disappointed in this Best Western hotel.

Woke up at midnight by someone who was also assigned to my room (they were at the door trying to get in). 30 minutes later the front desk called to ask who I was. How they could check two people into the same rib and not know it is beyond me. When I checked out nobody asked how my stay was... room was dated and tired... won't be coming back

Good stopover

The hotel provided everything I needed: it was clean, quiet, comfortable, etc. However, travelers should be advised that its location is quite isolated. There was a small commercial strip on the approach to the hotel, with a Chinese restaurant and liquor store that were closed when I arrived in late evening, and a 24-hour convenience store with a rather limited selection. You should take this into account if you are planning to stock the fridge.
