Check in was very fast, the room was very clean and check out was just as good and fast has checking in. Overall I was pleased

If you want to stay in a litter box!

The section of the hotel we stayed in (Main Building) smelled of cat urine!! The room also had an awful mildew smell and a rattling heater. Heard this hotel went through renovations a few years back - obviously did nothing to the main structure!! Stayed there years back and nothing has changed but the fact it is run down and smells like a litter box! Would not stay there again.

I was sorry to hear that your stay with us was unpleasant. I do hope you brought these concerns and your experience to the Front Desk Manager’s attention during your stay so that we could remediate the situation. I have shared this review with our Operations Manager as well as our Director of Housekeeping. The Sea Crest underwent a renovation that began the end of 2010, spanned over a few years, and we have continued to upgrade the property since then. Under the new ownership, we expect more renovations to come starting in April. I do hope you give us another chance and it will be our pleasure to welcome you back to the Sea Crest Beach Hotel.

Lovely location

Lovely hotel with beautiful beach. Hotel was overrun with young families, so could not use the pool or hot tub. It was very noisy in the public seating areas, with few choices of places to relax. I booked a king room with extra bed, with a sun deck. We did not have a "sun deck" and the sleeper sofa was not made up, I had to ask for sheets and made it myself. I love this location, but it was not geared towards a relaxing weekend getaway.

It sounds like you may have stayed with us over School Vacation week where we do tend to see higher occupancy levels including a lot of families on site. We do our best to manage the recreation areas and other hotel outlets so that all guests can enjoy. The housekeeping team does not make up the sofa bed in advance. We do this to ensure that It is our housekeeping staff’s responsibility to make the sofa bed up on request. I apologize if there was a miscommunication when the sheets were delivered to your room.

Beautiful location. Kid friendly.

The hotels quiet time policy needs to be reevaluated ASAP. 11pm is too late and they were not strict enough. They allowed kids to play in the hallway day and night and literally play hockey. Not acceptable. The kids should have been in their rooms or in a rec area. They ruined our evening and the hotel did nothing about it.

School vacation week visit. Staff helpful, patient and attentive. We all enjoyed our visit and will return.

Great place. Would love to see it in the Summer season if I could afford it. Beautiful though. And great staff. But no basic cable! I wanted to watch the Olympics and no NBC in the room.

Great location, great resort

Pros: The location is right on the beach. Sunset is fantastic. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The food is great, and downtown is just a short
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Great location on the beach and close to downtown
If your staying one night or several you would feel right at home at the Sea Crest.Very comfortable rooms. The beds are excellent. The location is right on the beach. The restaurant, Red's is fantastic. I have stayed here several times, and I will be back again, hopefully soon.

paper thin walls

Pros: the room was clean
Cons: address the noise issue
The room I stayed in had paper thin walls with an adjoining door that must have been hollow because we could hear every word the couple next door said. The front desk agreed to move our room but the next room had the same problem. I'm looking for some peace and quiet when I travel and although the room was clean I won't be returning.
