Stay at Puerto de Luna.

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Cons: Elevators. However bellboys will carry luggage upstairs. Gym facilities.
Location: Location was what I liked. Shopping and restaurants are closeby.
Nice hotel. Well kept for its age. The grounds were kept clean. the price was right. I really liked the TV channel options. the room service was good. The two free bottles of water everyday was a big plus. Being 69 years old I didn't particularly like climbing stairs. That should be an option when renting a room there. The location was really good. getting a bus or cab was super easy. It was two blocks from the Soriana super market and the Caricol shopping center.

Character Hotel with Amazing Staff & Location

Posted Apr 23, 2017
Pros: The old style warmth and camaraderie of staff and guests. The pool very clean and well maintained gardens.
Cons: I like to cook when in Mexico as I am a Nutritionist and Cookbook author so a few serving bowls, wine & beverage glasses would be appreciated.
Location: Fast, regular buses to everywhere - local shopping, massages, salons, restaurants and even homeopathic doctors. 5 min. to upscale shopping -Isla Mall
I collected the smiles of ALL the staff and brought them home with all my wonderful tropical memories. The hard working staff make this older Mexican hotel a bargain; the only glitch is the beach is across a 4 lane very busy main street so children under 7 would find it a long walk but the large clean pool is perfect for kid of all ages; for the purposes of my writing trip it was close to all the amenities and was kept as shiny clean as any older hotel could! The concierge, pool attendant and front desk staff all aim to please and jump to any concerns immediately. The lack of elevator is a great fitness workout by itself and staff is on hand to carry suitcases and offer fast support. It can get "hopping" with the music of the other hotels in the hotel zone; on it's own it is tranquil and like it's own paradise and things quieten down right at 10pm when the pool closes. A popular resort because it offers older Family Mexican style. Thank you so much everyone for making my trip so comfortable & happy!

Pros: Quiet & reasonable prices if not Easter week.
Location: Just a beach across highway, & new shopping mall if you are into that.
Staff wonderful. Grounds good. Nothing else to say.

Quaint , charming Mexican oasis

Posted Mar 31, 2017
Pros: Location.Staff was very friendly and helpful.Quiet.
Cons: The kitchen could have something to cook on and the bedroom air conditoner didn't work. If we used it we would have water all over the floor.
Location: The beach and the marina are very close by. Also the Wal-Mart and Costco are easy to get to. Super easy to get a bus pretty much anywhere.
This hotel is exactly what I was looking for. It has a real Mexican feel. It was a little oasis from the big city feel of PV.The beach was easily accessible and it was great having the food court right outside of the gates if you weren't into going anywhere for dinner. Buses literally stopped at the front of the hotel and the Soriano was close for groceries etc.I would definitely stay there again.

Room nightmares.

Posted Mar 21, 2017
First day, sink and toilet was clogged. Toilet was fixed but no sink all night. We were unable to brush our teeth, wash our hands or face. We requested a room change and the floor drain in the bathroom had issues with the water. The water was coming into the bathroom and into the bedroom. This happened every morning. We requested blankets on the third night and they must have had bed bugs. We had bites all over our bodies. We had to take real quick showers because we would run out of hot water. But the last morning, the water from the drain came out and into the hall way, the bedroom, and even out the room and into the hall outside. Our luggage even got wet it was on the floor since we were packing. But the worse, we noticed a big yellow strain right where our faces are. I know the hotel is pet friendly and I'm guessing it was a pee spot. I would not recommend this hotel.

Dear Abel, First of all, thanks for your preference during your last trip to PV and for providing your comments about your stay in our hotel, even though we we have liked to know about or receive these reports you mentioned to be aware or take care of them. We only received the first report about the sink and toilet and as you know we attended it right away, then after one more report we pleased the room change request. (and as saw by all of our asistance regarding places and red tapes to do) we are always willing to help you and everyone who needs it. Once we cleared this subject, it will be nice to be your host in future occasions if you consider we are the hotel for you and your accommodations.
