Close to down town Knoxville

Pros: Close to Knoxville
Cons: As stated the air conditioner and bathroom door.
Location: I was there for my son being sworn in to the United States Marines. It was very convenient to Meps.
The bathroom door would not shut. The air conditioner leaked inside, and the temperature knob was broken off so you could only turn it on or off.

Disappointed with stay

Pros: Improvements did look great
No refrigerator or microwave, wifi would not work. This was very dissappointed

Dear Guest We really appreciate & are thankful to you for putting your comments here.I personally apologize for not providing promised amenities. Since monday 8/24/15 we have installed refrigerator & microwave in all our guest rooms. We were awaiting delivery from our vendor for more then 2 months. We also recently installed new wifi systems with 12 hi-speed access points. Over the past 2 week, our region experienced failure in telephone services from Comcast, hence internet was occassionally down. We will definitely make additional effort to better our services. Please give us another opportunity and we promise to provide a satisfactory stay at our hotel.

The night front desk guy was AMAZING. We came in a little late and really just expected to get the key cards and shooed away. When he greeted me he was super friendly and joking. He told me all about the pool and breakfast and even recommended other places for breakfast if we wanted something more. Because we came in so late he even offered to let us check out an hour later so that we could sleep longer. He was GREAT! The room was actually really pretty. The wood floors were nice and the furnishings I thought were nice, but simple. Sheets were comfortable and of course the pillows were the best part. Bathroom was kind of small but we certainly got the bang for our buck! Breakfast was very limited, but he did warn us when we checked in. Really was just coffee and cereal or toast. But it was a nice way to just start the day and then get a heavier lunch on our trip.

We recently installed fridge & microwave,coffee maker in all our rooms, patched & sealed our parking lot also. We look forward to serving you in future.

Don't ever stay here

Very dirty restroom smelled of urine so badly that I couldn't even take a shower. TV didn't work properly lights didn't work properly. Plus they refused to give me a refund. Worse experience ever with a hotel.

I was very pleased with the Pleasing

Pros: Hotel was easy to find and was in very good condition.
Cons: Hotel was what anyone would expect from a Red Roof Inn.
Location: I noticed that there were several restaurants and gas stations nearby.
I was very pleased with the desk clerk. He was very professional and courteous. The room was very clean and everything was in good working order. The beds were excellent and comfortable.

Convenient to UT Knoxville

Pros: Spacious and quiet room that is being renovated.
Location: Convenient to UT Knoxville and downtown Knoxville.
Renovating hotel and it will very nice when completed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Quiet room with excellent beds. Plenty of restaurants and gas stations close. Will stay there again when in town.

Houston and Della Vacation

Pros: Great location, clean room, quiet, located near several good restaurants.
Cons: Replace the space to hang clothes, clean the tile in the bathtub.
Location: Right off interstate. Nothing to do nearby. Mall 20 minute away and nothing special there.
The hotel was easy to find - right off the interstate. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had to downgrade from a king room to a double room, but was not offered a discount, even though the rate was good. The room was clean, well decorated, but the renovations did not include replacing hanging space for our clothes. The bathroom was clean; however, the towel in the bath needed attention - there were some signs of mold present. Also, the toilet seat was loose. When I mentioned this to the manager he took care of it immediately. It was quiet, no rowdy neighbors which is exactly what we were looking for. Overall good experience.

Not too pleased.

I called in one morning and asked if they had a room available for early check-in, they told me yes so I booked on Expedia and went into the hotel. The manager then decided to tell me they had a fee of $15 to check-in early, which he did not tell me on the phone prior to me going there. I went ahead and just paid it, even though I reminded him he did not tell me about the fee before, simply because I was already there and needed some rest. When I got to the room I was pleasantly surprised, it was nicely renovated with new beds and flooring. I knocked the room down a few points because there were many dead bugs on the floor and the bathroom tub had some hair in it as well as on the washcloths and the towels also had stains on them. There were some very strange people walking around outside as well so I did not feel totally safe. One of those men I think actually worked at the hotel but he was constantly smoking and staring at the girls who walked by. Wish I could have had a better experience, definitely don't want to deal with all of that again.
