We were satisfied with the price/quality but the internet pictures tend to make you think it’s more of a hotel than a motel which we think it is. We are not knocking it and have stayed at a lot of „Hotels“ that are not as good and much more expensive.

We were delay crossing the channel by almost 3 hours meaning we would ot get to the hotel until after end of check-in. I contacted the hotel who were helpful and gavs me i structions of how I could do a late check-in. This was later followed up with an email of the instructions. Access to the room was straightforward resulting in a stress free experience unlike that at Le Shuttle. The hotel was easy to find from the motorway and staff very polite.

Staff were excellent. Room cold (linoleum floor), noisy from adjacent rooms, narrow single beds, but plenty of hot water ;-]. Breakfast quite expensive for a limited choice. Easy free parking and good wifi

Really good
Excellent staff, comfortable bed and accommodation. Restaurant good for evening meal and a very good breakfast. Free parking and WiFi.

Nice hotel, friendly staff.
We had three rooms as there was 2 couples and a disabled person. Two rooms on the first floor and the disabled room on the ground floor. The staff were very accommodating and made the effort to make us welcome including speaking English as we butchered the Dutch language. We were too late for the breakfast serving as we didn’t know what time it finished, but the staff did let us have a quick meal and coffee. I would recommend this hotel, it was clean and had everything we needed and was comfortable.

Recommend
I was meetings friends in Venlo for a night out but couldn't get a hotel in the center so i booked this one . The rooms were clean and tidy with everything i needed for my stay free wifi a tv and tea and coffee. The breakfast was nice with a wide choice. The car park is free and its only €20 for a taxi into the center.

Good value and a good night's sleep
Very good basic hotel. It was clean, comfortable and close to the motorway. Staff were helpful and polite. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside was that the kettle didn't work but these things happen. I'll definitely think about staying here if I pass through again.

uick over right stay
I use campanile as I know what to expect my only Disappointing thing this trip Is no kettle In the room Luckily I carry one in my bag . I usually seek out the campanile when in Europe

Underwhelming
Motel style hotel that has utilitarian style rooms that offer no frills. TV could not be turned off with remote and I had to unplug it every time I wanted to switch it off. Beds were flimsy and a bed collapsed when I sat on it as they are on long legs with wheels at the bottom. Wi fi worked well and staff were very friendly and helpful

Hot weather, so no sleep
Typical? Campanile room, just decor straight from 70ties and besides lick of paint, not much changed. Very thin walls, very hot night (no aircon), noisy from the road, so no way of opening window, so not much sleep for me. Very good blackout window coverings, parking up front. I haven’t tried breakfast. Not my favourite, won’t be going back.

I've stayed here a number of times and they always make me welcome, the rooms are self contained and mostly on balconys Motel style, always very clean if a little basic.

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review and we feel sorry for the fact that there were some bugs in the room. As noticed our rooms are all reachable from outside as the front doors are facing the open air. Due to this warm weather, and sun on the windows, some bugs go inside. Unfortunately we cannot eleminate all bugs, however the bug found, was examined, and completely harmless. We feel sorry for the unpleasant feeling when entering your room the first time. Easy to find, convenient for Weeze airport (Ryanair). Room comfortable and clean - not Generation 3 Campanile, but fine for overnight stay. Restaurant choices and costs not as good as Campaniles that we more often use in France. Not close to town centre - need to drive to find other shopping / eating options. Good WiFi connection in room.

Fairly basic hotel on the outskirts, came back in the evening and hoped to have a night cap at the bar. It was shut and the chap on desk was really quite unfriendly and disinterested.

Very good value. Hotel
This hotel is fantastic value, the staff are helpful and professional, the rooms a clean, well equiped and have a good size bathroom. The bed is comfortable. Excellent parking available, there is a. Restaurant but we took a short taxi. Ride to the town which is well serviced with restaurants for all tastes.

We have used this hotel 3 times now. Cant fault staff friendliness,enjoyable food and serviceable rooms. Down side is that room floors are never properly cleaned-I have asthma. And only last week I had my phone charger stolen by cleaning staff. And yes i did check it with reception and even went back to the room

A hotel that is perfect for business
I have stayed at this hotelfor business on quite a few occasions now and have always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, food is good and inexpensive, I have used the takeaway service and Christian the chef has always prepared a nice meal at the time that it was requested, I will be staying here regularly now for business purposes. It is close to the road network and the hotel provides free parking

Very convenient, just off the motorway but quiet Just on the Dutch side of the German border with no other accommodation between there and Duisburg The room was clean and bright Would stay again if passing that way
