The property has wonderful corals and reefs in close proximity. One on the left of the jetty is really wonderful. The water villa are quite luxurious and the pizzeria serves good food.

Pleasant but not 5 star
Nice location on the beach, surrounded by protective garden from the heat, with plenty of privacy. Many food options and difficult to imagine any diner who wouldn't be impressed by the range of choice or quality of food. The bathroom needs more intensive cleaning to remove residual smells. Nice snorkelling for beginners and protected swimming in a man-made lagoon. There are a few snorkelling expeditions, and water sports at additional cost.

My wife and I had our honeymoon and stayed in a water villa. This was by far one of the best resort or hotel experiences either of us have ever had. If you're looking for a luxurious and relaxing holiday you want to visit this Taj hotel. You would not find better staff and service right from your arrival to departure. We were met by a rep at the male airport, we had a smooth transfer by speed boat to the island and on arrival to the island we were greeted by staff with welcome drinks and cold towels; even the executive chef and GM show up to receive and bid farewell to all guests. Check-in was done in our rooms rather than making us walk to the reception and was really smooth. The water villa was beautiful overlooking the perfectly clear blue water lagoon. You'll wake up with the sunrise and want to jump in and swim or snorkel in that lagoon all day The room itself was well furnished and stocked with all essentials and replenished promptly twice a day or upon request. Turndown service was included and didn't need to be requested. I don't have enough words to describe the food at Taj coral reef. My wife and I went over to basically compliment the chefs every single day. Breakfast includes a large buffet selection, an omelette station, and a hot food menu from which you can order

This has to be one of the best vacations for us. The hospitality at Taj Coral Reef Resort and Spa is incomparable and world class. Everyone right from the young boy who cleaned our room to the Manager of the resort are courteous and go out of their way to make their guests feel special. Special thanks going out to Kannan, Yangchen and Sajani at the Bokkura restaurant for making our meals special and memorable. Thanks also to Rana at Reef Bar for fixing nice drinks. This resort is highly recommended.

Absolute Paradise
Incredible stay with at Vivanta by Taj. The service provided by the staff was incredible. Courteous, efficient and friendly. Big shout out to Nanjappa who was one of many staff members who provided us with excellent service throughout. The food was simply outstanding and the Head Chef, Arun, went the extra mile to cater for our needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Maldives, which was made even more special by staying at Vivanta by Taj!

Honeymoon of our dreams. Worth it on every level. Staff and stay was amazing. No mosquitos on the island. Free speedboat from airport which is great if you don’t want to get on a tiny sea plane when you get to Male. Food was fantastic across the board with many varieties and options. 10 on 10 for what we were looking for - a relaxing, chill getaway.

Has a great time in the Water Villa. Snorkeling right off your room balcony. Went deep sea fishing, etc. Also took a trip to Male. Wanted to take a day trip to Kuda Bandos but was not able to as other people did not sign up.

Stay in Taj Vivanta was good. View from the room was awesome. From the room you can dive into the ocean. Kids snorkled near the coral reef. Overall a very good holiday, the best vacation we had so far!!!!

Beautiful island, great hotel
Our flight arrived late at night, but the staff waited for us and provided us with a free speedboat transfer. This was good as it meant we didn't have to spend a night a Male and transfer to the island the next day. The island is small but beatiful. Snorkelling is great and the marine life is amazing. Good options for activities, and food is good too. Overall a very good experience.

the hotel is dated.it is like a 80s hotel.very basic facility. beach is dirty. the food is worst with the most expensive price(a plate of noodle costs 43 dollar, i understand maldives price is high so actually i would not mind to pay for the expensive price if it is nice,but you could not believe how bad the food was,i could cook much better myself).it is a rip off. the restaurant s much more expensive than one and only and four seasons in maldives. management is not helpful and rude.I feel so sorry for people there for their honeymoon.

This hotel is taj hotel, suppose to be amazing service, the guy that escorted us to our room didn't even offer to carry our hand bags, but wouldn't leave the room unless we have him tip, almost like he was begging for tip extremely low class, also a bald guy walk up to us by the pool telling us we have to check out, when we told him manager said we can have our room until 6 pm, he was arguing and raising his voice in front of the other guests saying that we are wrong, so I got upset and told him to go and double Cheka with his manger and he left with a bad attitude to cone back and say we were right, not even apologizing, hotels should never have people like tear 2 work in service, they should be in the back never interacting with guests. Everyone else at the hotel including the chefs were very nice

Nice resort for a relaxing break.
Great location if you want a relaxing break. As with most of the Maldives island resorts, it is a long way from anywhere so you are reliant upon the facilities available to entertain yourself. The resort has 62 rooms and caters mainly for couples. The pool area is a little short on available sun lounges for the guest numbers. Diving was well catered for and the island even had its own wreck & reef to dive on less than 50m from shore.

新婚旅行向き、水上ヴィラ
2018年1月に水上ヴィラに妻と3泊しました。天気も良くホテルへの満足度もありました。注意点としては、All inclusiveにするのにお金がかかりすぎる（expediaからの予約で含まれるのは朝食のみ、All inclusiveへの変更は200ドル/人）ので、個別にチャーターするならJTBのプランを利用するとお得です。逆に言うと日本人があまりいない方が良いというカップルやご夫婦、団体には不向きです。といって日本人同士で気まずくなるほと至近距離になることは食事を除くと、まずありません。また食事は昼食のピザは美味しいですが、基本的に日本で食べる食事と比べるとローカル色が強いです。まずいわけではないのですが。 一方、景観は最高だし家の前がすぐ海でシュノーケリングは無料で出来ます。他にもスパ、マリンスポーツも概ねのことは可能で、スタッフの対応も良いです。ちなみに時期が旧正月の前であったためか中国人観光客はほとんどみませんでした。 最後に新婚旅行で行かれる方にちょっとしたアドバイスを。今回私たちはシンガポール経由で、独自で行きましたが、高級ホテルに泊まり移動するとアメニティーや設備の新しさなど、物足りなく感じることもあるかと思います。ただそこは南国の元はと言えば何もない島。冷房が効いた室内で過ごせるだけでも幸せであり、海が見れてすぐ泳げて、冷たいジュースやシャンパンを出してくれて、幸せ。と言う考えが吉かもしれません。
