Very nice hotel with a bar

The hotel was amazing! It was my kids first time staying at a hotel and they were more than happy. On Saturday night at around 9pm, after a day full of fun activities we decided to walk down to the ocean, this hotel has a great little path directly to the beach, we passed an employee walking the opposite way we were and he never acknowledged us. When we got closer to the sand we heard a little bit of commotion, there were two police officers holding down a guy we could only assume was intoxicated from the outdoor bar located on the hotel premises, the guy being restrained by their bodies, not hand cuffs was saying "please get the f-*^ off of me" my children had to see that. I personally felt that employee who saw me walking with my small children should have said something. The coffee shop was out of coffee at 8am and the one cup I was able to get was disgusting. The pool was fantastic, the hot tub/spa was incredible, the hotel was spotless, the room was great with a great view, the little dog park area was extremely convenient, and our experience was all in all pretty great. Luckily my children were more concerned with the ocean than the scene they were exposed to and I was able to rush them past it, but that doesn't excuse that behavior at a family hotel.

We're glad that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. I do apologize that your children were exposed to a less than pleasant situation; I don't know why the police officers were there. Unfortunately, in a rare instance, unpleasantries happen and are out of our control. If our employee saw the commotion he or she should have mentioned it to you, and I'm sorry that didn't happen. Beautiful hotel. Wish it was closer to boardwalk. Great restaurant and bars lots of nice little areas.

Thank you for your feedback! I wanted to let you know that the town bus goes from the inlet to 145th Street, with many stops along the way. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that goes north, and right across the street near our other parking lot that takes you south to the boardwalk and inlet areas. This season it was $3 to ride all day. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Parking lot veiw

When I book my trip it said ocean view that's what I wanted I get there it's a parking lot view after talking to manager she move my room and then one of my beds had crumbs in it didn't fill like calling about that so just ask for clean sheets only thing is good about here is they have things on site to enjoy yourself

We're sorry that you didn't care for your accommodations. Although from some rooms you can see the parking lot, you can still see the ocean from the side. One staff ruined it for all

Gentleman at front desk could use a lesson or two on customer service. He was not welcoming, seemed bothered and was not friendly in the least. He was borderline rude. I wish I got his name.
