We loved our one night stay and will return soon. Astoria has become such a fun place to visit. The room was so charming and the terrace was a great spot to have a cocktail or two! My favorite part was the heated tile in the bathroom and fireplace heater. Super cozy hotel with restaurants and shops near by.

Just very nice all around. Great staff, nice room, located smack dab in the middle of town, close to numerous shopping, eating and entertainment options. We loved it.

If you are open to a classic “old world” hotel experience this is for you. All your needs are met. If you only like modern contemporary accommodations you will say this hotel is dated. Located in the central business district, a plus.

We are celebrating our 100th anniversary this year. The hotel was completely remodeled in 2003, but we kept the decor and structure classic.

For a 100 year old property, this hotel is spotless. The rooms are very quiet and clean. There's a rooftop view. Good breakfast options included in the stay. And it's within walking distance to all the great restaurants, breweries, bars, and shopping. Highly recommend.

We've stayed at the Hotel Elliot several times now, and always have a lovely stay. The beds are very comfortable, the staff is excellent, and it couldn't be more conveniently located for downtown Astoria. This was the first time I'd tried their continental breakfast, and it was a step above the usual chain hotel fare. Highly recommended.

Perfect location in downtown astoria. Rooms definitely have an old-ish/musky smell to them which was a little overwhelming at times. Windows don’t have a screen on them so you can’t really leave them open to air out the room or have fresh air come in. With no heat on the room gets pretty warm. Booked a city view but got the parking lot Honestly would stay here again.

Flawless classic hotel in downtown Astoria. Quiet and comfortable, attentive staff, a wine bar, pool table, and those wonderful beds. Love this place.

The property was very nice excpet for the room not being properly cleaned. There was still a nest of someone else's hair in the shower.

I apologize for the condition of the shower. Our housekeeping managers inspect all rooms after they are cleaned. Occasionally, things get overlooked. I hope you contacted the front desk to let them know about the shower. They would have offered to move you to another room or at the very least, sent someone to properly clean the shower.

The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring Astoria. They had a very good breakfast included with the room and their wine bar was nice as well as the sitting area on the rooftop to watch the sun set over the Columbia River. We initially noticed a smell in the lobby but not in our room. Perhaps this was a one time thing or we became used to it but didn't notice it later. The faucet in the sink of our room had a nearly constant drip which was noticeable. We reported it and hopefully it will be addressed.

This is an exceptional hotel ... nicely restored, thoughtful conveniences, spacious rooms, lovely lobby and eating area. You get real breakfast with real dishes and silverware. Friendly staff too. It's what I would call a gracious hotel!

Where else do you get heated floors in the bath. The staff is cordial and seem to enjoy helping. The breakfast is real food. The Elliot is surrounded by an array of great restaurants. The rooftop terrace provides amazing views. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in years

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Hotel Elliott. It's location can't be beat, making it so easy to enjoy the downtown dining options, sights, and riverfront. We live in the area but love to come to Hotel Elliot for special occasions. It was our 34th wedding anniversary. We loved the upstairs roof and enjoyed the warmth of the day and a game of dominos. Hotel staff is excellent and always have a friendly smile.
