Horrible customer service

It's was a complete disaster from beginning to end. they didn't know what they were doing. First of all I reserved one double room and I get there and they had none available, I was offered a second room at no charge, or so I was told. I had to change rooms twice since the air didn't work at all and the rooms were awfully smelly. I was over draft on my bank account from the extra charges, from that "free room". Which I was told No to worry since that card wouldn't get charged until check out and they did it anyways. Then the very rude lady at the front desk said she would call the police because I was insisting to get a receipt for the refund. So upsetting to have to go thru this on a family vacation. I am sharing what happened to me so it won't happen to anyone else. BE VERY CAREFUL when you give a credit card on this hotel.

I assure you that this is not typical of our hospitality and welcoming staff. Per your conversation with our General Manager on Saturday, you have not been double-charged. The initial "charge" that popped up on your bank statement was just an authorization, to ensure that valid payment had been presented at check in. This is a process that happens automatically when each guest checks in, but the actual charge does not process until each guest checks out. If you would like to speak with either myself or our General Manager, we are both available to speak with you in more detail.

Exceeded expectations

Nice room with a good price. I was happy with my stay. I stayed two separate nights while flying out of the Orlando/Sanford International Airport. I was on the 4th floor both nights. The only thing I didn't like was the hallway on the 4th floor smells like cigarette smoke. The inside of the room is not as bad. I was in a non smoking room both times.
