What the heck happened the night before??

Posted Feb 28, 2017 on Hotels
When we tried to turn on the night stand light it was discovered that the entire light assbly. was gone and there were two copper wires hanging out, when I tried to call the front desk, the phone was dead in the room and a bunch of the buttons missing, I followed the cable down to find it cut off at the wall, also the alarm clock display was all messed up, when I picked it up all you could hear was loose pieces rattling around in there. How could the maid not have noticed any of these things? I went down to the front desk to ask for help, and a new lamp, the front desk dude wanted to give me a light bulb... finally convinced him to come up and see, he did come up and take the lamp, phone and clock away and said he would let someone know it wasn't us who had done the damage... My question is what happened the night before, and it would have been nice to get a bit taken off the room considering we had none of the amenities of a phone, lamp, or clock in the room...

Front desk was "closed" when we got there to checkin. The front desk was rude at check out and wouldn't give me a receipt. And the "breakfast " was no breakfast.

NICE, NEW & SUPER CLEAN

EXTENDED STAY AMERICA FACILITIES ARE REALLY FOR THE WORKING PERSON STAYING A WEEK AT A TIME. THE ROOM LIKE AN APPARTMENT. FULL KITCHEN, REFRIGERATOR, SITTING AREA. LARGE VANITY AND PRIVATE SEPARATE TUB / SHOWER & TOLET. VERY FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL STAFF. I WOULD RECOMMENT THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE. I STAYED BECAUSE OF A HOTELS.COM SECRET PRICE THAT WAS MUCH LESS THAN THEIR CHEAPEST ROOM. THEY ONLY HAD ONE ROOM AT THIS PRICE ON HOTELS.COM.

Bad customer service lead to a bad night of sleep

I asked for a room away from the elevator. I got a room right next to the elevator. Pathetically slow internet connection. Random hair in the bathroom.

Just ok.

The hotel is pretty basic and a little dated. The gal at the front desk was a sweetheart. There's not much around as far as dining other than fast food. The fire alarm went off at 7am because apparently someone was doing something in the kitchen that they weren't supposed to. It was an inconvenience and caused me to be late for a meeting but it is what it is.
