So we looked for a place that on the cheap and close to our airport. We flew in from Tokyo to Osaka so we landed in ITM.
The walk from Shonai station is one that would make you into a healthier person. 15 Mins through narrow roads with some sidewalks and having to shift to the left side. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and sheet of paper with instructions. This was great because English is a foreign language in Osaka. In any event, we get to our room and its super spacious, stocked with goodies to buy and had a microwave and fridge for our own personal use. Breakfast had to be called in but could be delivered at anytime of day and select menu items. Only the front desk people had a grasp of English as the ladies who delivered items and food to the room where not receptive and didn't want to do more than just what needed to be done in a respectful way. If you need a room cleaning you just let the front know when you leave to do your tourist stuff. Also you leave your key at the front desk in exchange for a card with your room number so that you can retrieve it back afterward.
It was a great headquarter for all of our running into Namba, Umeda, Kyoto and the place we didn't get to Kobe.

The rooms in this hotel were just as good as the pictures led me to believe. They are huge and have everything you could possibly want while there. The room service was mostly nice and priced ok for hotel room service. The only downsides were that the bed was not a proper mattress so was very hard. Also the area had no other restaurants or shops and it was a 15min walk to the station to get anywhere. Over all very lovely hotel to stay in but if you plan spend most of your time site seeing in Osaka look for something closer to town.
Also keep in mind that it is very obviously an adults hotel.

The elderly Japanese cleaning lady was very nice. At time communicating with front desk staff was very frustrating because they could not speak any English and they are not helpful. Not suitable for family and only recommend for short stay only.
