This is a beautiful resort. The grounds are immaculate. A huge swimming pool. Tennis courts, a casino, and at least 10 peacocks that roam the property with their beautiful tail feathers!

We've stayed here several times before our early-morning flights from Liberia Airport. A shopping centre is next door, along with several good restaurants. The hotel is on a busy highway but the rooms and grounds are quiet. The staff is always friendly and efficient - we will stay here again

If you've have an early flight, for the price, it's a good place to stay. Only took 10 minutes to get to the airport. BUT, the casino no longer exists.....

Nice property and convenient location. Good breakfast. Unfortunately at the night time ,was a shooting all around. I don't care but my wife has been upset.

The front desk staff were very helpful. Limited options for the breakfast was a downer. Not once in 14 days did they offer bacon, real sausage or cooked ham as an option for breakfast.

We could not sleep at night due to noise from road and festival going on. Walls are thin. Property is very pretty and food at reastaurant is very good. Bathrooms need updating.

Food at the restaurant was very good. Fresh crust on the calzone and pizza. We were able to watch the Football playoffs at the bar and the bar staff switched it to English so we could hear what was going on. Room was clean. Water was hot. Lots of birds in the surrounding trees and tge peacocks. Close to town so you can walk to see the sights in Liberia. The plaza next to it has many dining options. There is no Casino anymore and no airport shuttle as it says on thier website. The cat bites so don't try to pet it. Bed is very hard but I was still able to sleep. I did not hear the Disco across the street maybe because it was very windy everyday we were there.

When i walked in my room the window was open, i tried close it and wasn’t able to do so, so i went to the from desk for assistance. It took two me to close the window which was crazy. I then walked into the bathroom to shower and there was mold all over the shower. It was totally disgusting. I went back to the front desk and informed them of my findings and of my allergies to mold and i was informed that i would have to wait until the next day for a room change. I informed her i was allergic and she said all the other rooms were full. Which was hard to believe because the room next to us was vacant. The entire night it sounded as if something was scratching through the wall and the room was very uncomfortable. I will never stay there again

I did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the grounds. Did not feel like we were in the city. The pool is fantastic and very relaxing. Would highly recommend to friend visiting Liberia.

Was expecting more from the best western. Shuttle from airport is not included. Beds are very uncomfortable. We were on ground floor and the window did not secure and lock. Staff were very friendly. Many repairs needed in the hotel. Restaurant is ridiculously overpriced. We payed $18USD for a chicken fingers and fries. I wish I had stayed somewhere else.

Loved all the giant lizards and peacocks. Howler monkeys only in the tree tops but still cool. Beautiful pool area. No mini fridge in our room so we ended up buying a cooler. Walking distance to lots of stores and groceries. Friendly staff. Great weight room if you like that.

Location is mislabeled on the map, we arrived at night and it took us a while to find it. Check in was easy. The room was dark, old, super loud. Wind was strong and the window were rattling so much that we felt unsafe. We didn’t get to use the pool, it was covered with fallen leaves. The real surprise was this hotel has a lot of peacocks.

Awesome Bar Service
It was all okay, nothing special except Stephany (Dinner and breakfast) and Jennifer (dinner) in the restaurant. They were both very attentive, professional and personable. They made this solo traveler feel welcome and like someone they were grateful to serve, rather than just another Gringo at the bar.

There is no casino at El Sitio Hotel and Casino. The property looks like it’s condemned with cyclone fencing around it. It was the off season, but the place is completely deserted- it’s like staying at the Tico version of The Shining.
