not an all inclusice

Posted Jul 7, 2017
If traveling from US, their definition of queen beds are full beds. We found what looked like bed bugs to us and we were given Raid. Then we upgraded rooms - same issues. Staff is friendly. All inclusive means food served all day. Their food is inedible. The milk was warm, gnats were in all the fruit. There was nothing good for breakfast. We spent another $1500 eating out even though we paid for all inclusive. My daughter ordered at the Snack bar during their hours but was told this is the food she could choose from and it was all pre cooked and cold. Nothing to see. It is on a beach but the water is brown and the sand is full of ants. Just miserable the entire stay there.

What a WONDERFUL choice we made!

Posted Jun 27, 2017
Pros: Meals were excellent, the staff treated us as if we were the only ones at the resort and they go out of their way to learn your names and wants.
Cons: I couldn't think of anything to improve - it was just a wonderful experience.
Location: Check at the front desk for the many available packages. Also, go down to Coco Beach for sunset cruises and scuba diving.
This was supposed to be the rainy season so we went with the expectation of being marooned indoors, playing cards, reading, etc. with some periods of sunlight. Ah well, we wanted relaxation so we went for it. The weather was wonderful - it actually did rain one afternoon and there was one day when the humidity did rise a bit but nothing major. The meals were all delicious and not repetitive. Definitely make at least one reservation at the Santa Rosa Restaurant where Pablo and an assistant will treat you to "fine dining" and a relaxing, more intimate meal - still part of the all inclusive package. Try out both the salt water and fresh water pools - and note that each has a pool bar and the bartenders know what they are doing. Get an end room if you are by the pool (end in the #1 or #4). These have an additional skylight that adds to the ambience of the room. The "party" sports bar/pool table is closest to Building 5 so if you want total quiet this would not be your first choice. However, as the pool shuts down at 8:30 each evening and the last bar by 11, you will be just fine. Peaceful, serene, and a staff just waiting to accommodate our every wish. Blissful!

nice hotel on the beach with good all inclusive fo

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: food, location, care from staff
Cons: the drawers on the dresser were broken and the closet doors wouldn't shut well.
Location: Rincon de la vieja. Hacienda Guachapelin has an all day adventure pass that I highly recommend. also Diamante ecopark is great
We loved the Casa Conde. We stayed for 5 nights and loved the food and the location. It is very close to the Liberia airport. Very quiet location. Great beach! The food was varied and very tasty. There are 2 pools and swim up bars. There are lots of iguanas, lizards and even howler monkeys on the property! There was a wedding which was nice but the people attending were really loud! Also the last day and night the buffet was in their small restaurant and they didn't have as much varied food as when the other area was open.

perfect to relax

Posted Apr 9, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: I enjoyed that it was away from the city. My husband and I loved the tranquility, the attentive staff throughout the hotel.
Cons: The bar at the recreation area (volleyball, billiards) is open till midnight and music is played throughout, you may want to request a room away
Location: It's located in panama beach and nearby about 15 minutes away is Playa del Coco which you can shop for souvenirs, great local restaurants too.
We were looking for a perfect place to just relax and that is exactly what we experienced: relaxation. The amenities were excellent. Great staff, very friendly always making sure we were enjoying our stay. Great location too because in just a few steps, you are at this great quiet beach. The all inclusive meals were tasty! Great staff and chefs! The pools (which include a wet bar with fabulous drinks) and the jacuzzi were awesome too. If you are looking for comfort, easy going, and to relax this is perfect!

Quiet hotel on the beach with wonderful pools

Posted Apr 8, 2017
Cons: Wish we could have experienced more of the local cuisine (or if we did, that we had known about it!)
Location: You can get a mini-van (book through tour guide in lobby) to anywhere you want.
This hotel was perfect for our family vacation. We stayed in off season, but even during peak season you could get a chair at the pools! This is no big resort hotel, with so few rooms you never are overwhelmed with people. It is very secluded - there is no "town" that you can stroll to for trinkets or food. But that is what we were looking for. A Tico Tours representative was in the lobby and helped us book some day adventures. We stayed in a "Superior" room with a lovely view of the grounds and ocean from our lanai (complete with table, two rocking chairs and a ceiling fan. None of the rooms are looking at the parking lot! Room was very comfortable and clean. AC worked beautifully! The food wasn't "Costa Rican" but there was a large variety every night with maybe some Costa Rican spins. Fresh backed breads, soups, and a variety of other entrees and desserts, different every night. And for the picky eater of your group, a new pasta and sauce each night! Snacks available during day. Drinks always available at a multiple bars.

Quiet and relaxing Hotel

Posted Mar 27, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: Very quiet area with great staff and good food.
Location: There is nothing close except the beach. But they are ready to help you with a tour when you are ready.
Had a very relaxing vacation. The main reason for the trip was to sit back an relax and that is what we did. Spend most our time on the Deck reading and in the pool.
