Wonderful stay!

Pros: The staff was amazing and for what we paid for the trip it was well worth it with all the food and drink options.
Cons: The dinner reservation process if you want to eat in the a la carte restaurants.
Location: Go see the guys on the beach for excursions!
My new husband and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon in early May. We had a wonderful time! We are not vacationers and this is the first time we have gone to an all inclusive resort together and it could not have been better. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, the grounds were beautiful and the room was clean and spacious. We had a great view of the ocean. The food in the buffet was really good and offered a lot of different options. We only ate in the Italian restaurant one night which would be my only complaint. The a la carte restaurants require reservations, but you can't make them more than 24 hours in advance. I tried 3 times to get the reservation because you have to talk to one specific person between the hours of 8am and 3pm. The first two times I tried the restaurant was not available or the concierge was helping other guests and could not help me. When we finally did get into the restaurant we were not impressed. Service and food was not great, but all the other wonderful things about this property made up for the shortfall.

Nice adult all inclusive hotel with friendly staff

Pros: It was adult only and very peaceful.
Cons: More choices at buffet restaurants.
Location: Many things to do on excursions - some are about 2 hr. drive from resort.
Food in specialty restaurants was terrific. Buffet choices were marginal. Staff very friendly and shuttle service was efficient. Grounds were dry and dead looking in some spots due to lack of rain but overall grounds were well maintained. Beach was OK but water was inviting.

Great resort, close to the beach.

Beach isn't the best by this hotel. Pillows were awful, woke up with neck pain. Food isn't good at either restaurants. Buffet was the same thing everyday.

Good stay. Updates needed.

Pros: The helpful and friendly staff. All ADULT.
Cons: Evening entertainment, there was none.
Location: Plenty to see nearby. The staff was very accommodating helping us to book excursions. Catamaran cruise was excellent and so was the rainforest tour.
All of the staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and the bed slept great. House keeping did a great job daily. When we requested extra towels we received them that day and every day after. The restaurant choices are limited here, we mainly ate at the buffet. The menu on the buffet changes daily with a new theme. The steak house was our best meal and was only open one day (our last evening) during our 7 day stay, due to low occupancy. The only thing that was a "con" for this resort is that there is absolutely no evening entertainment. It would have been nice to have some sort of entertainment after dinner. Local entertainment is always nice, bands, singers or dancers. Magic shows, fire shows, or comedy.

Nice hotel- Quiet

Pros: The staff and the grounds
Cons: Pool needs to be refurbished - Keep plenty of beach towels on hand
Location: The location is about 30 minutes from Liberia and the road is rough. There is a shuttle you can take to Liberia or some of the other nearby beaches
The hotel is not new but in good shape. The pool needs some help. Accommodations were good, the staff is very friendly and willing to help you. The food was very good in the buffet and special restaurants. On weekends they had entertainment. During the week there is a disco did not go. You need to take a shuttle to the pool and beach unless you enjoy walking ALOT. One evening there were howler monkeys in the trees. The grounds are very pretty. We enjoyed it. April is a HOT time to go.

Nice property but not accommodating services/staff

This actual hotel property is quite nice - the rooms are spacious and clean and the grounds are pretty. However, there are a few rules of the hotel that were off-putting, particularly as someone who has been to several all-inclusive resorts and never faced theses issues. The pool closed at 7pm, even though that is clearly one of the main attractions at an all-inclusive. All food service closed at 10pm - you couldn't even pay for room service past 10pm - almost every other all-inclusive has at least one food option available until the wee hours of the morning. You were also not allowed to take any food outside of the dining rooms and there were no outside eating options, nothing by the pool, etc. The reception staff were perfunctory but not particularly warming and the concierge wouldn't make a dinner reservation for us over the phone. Instead, we had to walk to back to the front desk and then wait for 20 minutes while another guest used the reservations computer to do personal stuff so that the concierge could make the reservation. We stayed at this resort for one night because it was close to airport and we didn't want to drive from the Arenal region the morning of our flight. For this purpose, the resort was a good place to stay but I would not have been happy spending an entire vacation here because of all of the limitations the resort imposed on its guests.

An overnight visit.

A very nice facility. The check in procedure is excessively long however. The all inclusive food quality would get a 7/10, all surprisingly good! Our only real complaint is after you've checked out and are awaiting your transportation. Someone puts an adhesive decal on each piece of luggage. Each one is nearly 4" in diameter and will never, ever come off your suitcase. Why???
