Nice resort fun and friendly staff

Overall it was a very nice reset to stay at. Relaxing and clean. Just wiser there were more options for activities to do as in tours and such.

Nice hotel and great access to the beach. The food was mediocre And tasteless at the regular buffet.

Rooms could be better

Pros: Stuff is great. Food is good. View is great. Sea and beach, if not count some jelly fishes some time, also is good. Distance from airport only 30-40 minutes, very convenient. Security is good, may be too much some times. Probably has the shortest distance from beach location and the mountain chain where the most nature entertainment are located. Cons: Internet is free, but weak and slow Shuttles which drive around territory are diesel type and therefore are noisy and smelly. Rooms: A/C are noisy. They are old style, don't have auto mode, therefore have to run all time or manually shut down. TV is small, sitting in the box, therefore side view is limited. Only 6 English channels with poor quality, Seif box is an old one. Complicate to use, Tried 3 times, each time have to call security to open it. Too many light switches in the room. Need time to figure out what they control.

Good hotel but $500 resort credit is just discount

It was a great trip I just missed the premium upgrade which for me was really worth it. I actually had the chance for a better price but didn't cancel becouse of a "benefit" called $500 resort credit but they "miss" the word discount. But great transportation around the hotel and good service. Food was Ok but no great.

The nicest people in the world...

...work at this resort! Every single employee had a smile. They were patient with my broken Spanish and always helpful. I loved the narural and outdoorsy feel of the property. We did have an issue with our shower but the staff was quick with resolution. Any complaint I could have would be over shadowed by the hospitality of the staff. I'd go back in a minute!

Food is decent and overall installations are good.

Food in the restaurants and buffet are decent. Installations overall are good. They need to improve some of the rooms' bathrooms. The beach is really close to the hotel.

Rainy Season

I thought the hotel was nice. It is very spaced out so you will have lots of walking. The two special restaurants are by reservation only and only open on certain nights, so we missed our chance at the oriental. Excursions can be booked through a company on site or through hotel staff. For the hotel there was no paper on price but just what they told us, which he would go down on the price, but then would also try to charge a 5% fee for using your credit card. I liked that each night had a theme for dinner but also at times a small selection. Overall I enjoyed the resort but smaller than most.

Very Nice Resort

Pros: The Staff was incredible!, specifically, the premium level staff. They made sure we had everything we needed for an incredible experience
Location: Only 20 min. from the airport. Easy. We set up an ATV excursion in a 5 passenger ATV to the Zip-Lines in the canopy. 1/2day on a 55Ft Cat Sailboat
This resort has recently completed a renovation of the property. As of this week, they are about half complete with an additional pool and bar directly on the beach. The new pool and bar construction does not interfere with the main pool and bar or the beach. The grounds, beach and all facilities look to be in great shape and in working order. The staff here are incredibly helpful, knowledgable, friendly, prompt and willing to do whatever it takes to make the guest feel special and never inconvenienced.

Perfect Couples "Retreat"

Pros: Beautiful view/resort, great service, great drinks, great buffet, great ambiance.
Cons: The MOSQUITOS are horrible! I'm sure I got Zyka.
Beautiful resort and GREAT view from your room! Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Only down-side...the nightly traipsing of a pack of raccoons on our porch. And the mosquitos are HORRIBLE! Buffet is delicious (with only "meh" night = Mediterranean.) Oriental a la carte restaurant is "meh", better off at the buffet. Snack Bar is a bust. Service is amazing and drinks are strong, with lots of variety. The beach is pretty boring, except at low tide. This was our "baby moon", so was just what we needed. A low-key but gorgeous place to relax and re-connect.

Wonderful stay!

Pros: The staff was amazing and for what we paid for the trip it was well worth it with all the food and drink options.
Cons: The dinner reservation process if you want to eat in the a la carte restaurants.
Location: Go see the guys on the beach for excursions!
My new husband and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon in early May. We had a wonderful time! We are not vacationers and this is the first time we have gone to an all inclusive resort together and it could not have been better. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, the grounds were beautiful and the room was clean and spacious. We had a great view of the ocean. The food in the buffet was really good and offered a lot of different options. We only ate in the Italian restaurant one night which would be my only complaint. The a la carte restaurants require reservations, but you can't make them more than 24 hours in advance. I tried 3 times to get the reservation because you have to talk to one specific person between the hours of 8am and 3pm. The first two times I tried the restaurant was not available or the concierge was helping other guests and could not help me. When we finally did get into the restaurant we were not impressed. Service and food was not great, but all the other wonderful things about this property made up for the shortfall.
