We really enjoyed our stay. The little backyard was very nice-we saw monkeys, hummingbirds, and iguanas while sitting out there over coffee or drinks. The free daily yoga classes were also very much appreciated. For surfers, they have a big collection of surfboards of various sizes and types to use for free, and it’s a really short walk to the beach. Everyone on the staff was super friendly and helpful. And if that’s not enough, every day there’s a delicious free breakfast.

What a beautiful, lush and natural environment. We easily walked around to the beach through jungle paths. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have outdoor showers also. Not luxurious, but beautiful grounds and enough. Easy access to pool, beach, spa and gorgeous patios for dinner, coffee and juice bar. We found it a very secure and monitored hotel.

Pura love for the harmony hotel
We had the best time there! Everyone was so kind & helpful. Rooms were great & very comfortable. There was construction going on closeby which was a bit noisy in the morning which was disappointing but they were accommodating & offered to move us to another room. The juice bar & food was delicious, especially the passion fruit French toast & poke. Pool was lovely & the beach was only a 2 minute walk, a dream! The only thing that would’ve made it better would be a misquote net above the bed. We got eaten up at night although they do provide free bug spray. I would definitely revisit the harmony hotel & highly recommended it for a couple or family.

Peaceful, rejuvenating surf and yoga escape
We loved everything about Harmony, the people are especially worth a mention—the kindest, gentlest souls that go above and beyond to make meaningful connections with us. The food was incredible, especially for myself (TONS of vegetarian options, really all over Nosara is extremely Vegetarian-friendly), and our 4 year old. The juice bar is superb, having a different menu from the main dining room and great smoothings and oat balls, cookies, snacks. Great drinks—a well-made margarita, too! The room was really special, I enjoyed sleeping with the louvers open and AC off, and the outdoor shower is the only one we used the entire trip! The beach is so close by, and is extremely clean. We enjoyed surf lessons with Glen and he got us comfortable surfing as newbies. We took yoga daily—what a lovely setting, too, the best really. Massages were incredible. The people here are so lovely, and we met so many other friendly guests, this is a place where you can connect not only with yourself, nature, your partner and family, but also the warm people of the Harmony and the other travelers. We made some of our best memories here and look very forward to coming back. Maybe next month!

Staff is superb!
We had a wonderful anniversary stay! The entire staff is wonderful and trust their recommendations, they were right every time! The hotel and grounds are immaculate and the room and bathroom were spotless. Pay the extra for the bungalows; the outdoor shower, hammock, privacy and room size are worth it! Eat the hotel breakfast, it’s delicious! Don’t bother renting a car if you’re in and around nosara, an ATV or Tuk-Tuk are way easier!!! The beach is a very short walk down a dirt path and it’s lovely! Perfect for yoga devotees -very quiet and peaceful. We were very well taken care of!

Very friendly staff, excellent yoga classes (1 per day included with our stay), clean property and rooms. The food and drinks were delicious. The pool was beautiful and the perfect temperature. Great location for walking to restaurants and the beach. I loved the free surf and boogie board rentals. Very tranquil environment and all of our needs were met. We will definitely return!

Great spot to relax and get away from it all!
We stayed at Harmony for five nights in a bungalow. It's a very relaxing spot with great staff and almost private, direct access to playa guiones - literally a 3 minute walk. The on site yoga is fantastic with a great mix of classes and teachers on offer. The restaurant does great food at a pretty reasonable price considering where it is located. There's a nice pool too. Would recommend paying more for a bungalow as they're way more private than most of the standard rooms which are just off the communal area. Enjoy!

GOOD VIBRATIONS AT HARMONY HOTEL
Each day at Harmony Hotel began with coffee made in my room and then enjoyed on the private outdoor deck where I could sit comfortably and check my work online. Around 6:30 AM, I would then proceed to the surf board checkout stand, sign out a board and then walk the private path to Playa Guiones and paddle out with all the other locals. Great, long rides in warm, clear water beneath the warm morning sunshine. Back to Harmony to shower off on the private deck of my room, and then breakfast at the Hotel....delicious. The Staff is very friendly. A little nap poolside before Yoga class and then meet friends in the spacious, relaxed Juice Bar. Thanks to David and Eduardo who were very kind and helpful.

Grounds are amazing. Food very good, yoga class very good. Front desk does not have much info about local tours, surf schools so check Trip Advisor or other sites before you go. Rooms are lovely, we had a private terrace with outdoor shower.

Went to Harmony for some R&R by myself. It was exactly what I needed. It was quiet, low-key, with nice amenities. The hotel itself is surrounded by lush vegetation and is just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The room itself was simple, clean, with a private back patio with a hammock and outdoor shower. Nice. The staff as a whole were very friendly and accommodating. Food was nothing short of amazing. Everything was delicious -- and it was all healthy! So nice to not indulge in a healthy way with juices, smoothies, and healthy foods. I felt recharged, at peace, and happy. Would definitely return again.

Fantastic Staff & Beautiful Location
The staff here is what makes this hotel so special, they're all very kind and you can tell that they are like a family. They invited me to play soccer with them one night and it was an experience I'll never forget. The playa is huge and has great waves, interesting finds along the beach and great views. The food & drink were excellent, and would be on par with a top restaurant in the states, the Costa Rican dishes were our favorites, along with the fresh fish (Snook). We stayed during the green season, so it was rather quiet which we liked, the only drawback is that there were repairs being made to the Juice Bar & Healing Centre buildings, so our treatments were in a bungalow, which hurt the ambiance, but the service was great, so it made up for it. The pool was awesome. I highly recommend the Harmony for any couples on their honeymoon.

Amazing.. Food is great, they have a juice bar on site which I love. 5 minutes or less from one of the best surf beaches in Nosara. I went during off season 9/17 which was amazing because I had the place to myself. This is a mellow hotel, all the staff were accommodating and very friendly. I will go back for sure.

We loved the Harmony Hotel and got a great rate on Hotels.Com. I would say that I think the hotel's rates are a little pricey given that the amenities on site are also expensive. Everything was quality and the service was AMAZING. We stayed in a Cocos Room. Had the property been crowded, it would have been noisy. If a spacious private room are a priority for you, this is probably not the place you should stay. You can walk to the beach from here, and to other restaurants. The juice bar, restaurant and spa are quality. I don't think we would have stayed here at the hotel's full price rate, however. Construction during the day was very loud and distracting.

Nice, but for the money I expected more.
It was a nice enough place, however, it was overly expensive. The food was okay but tasteless (meh). The receptionist flirted with my girlfriend and made her uncomfortable. They say they offer the bath products for sale, but when we went to buy them, they were unavailable. No TV in the room, no robes, no bath sandals, and $300 for a basic room in the off season. I was expecting something great for the money, like maybe nice towels and little extras but it was like a Tico hotel (newer) but minimalistic and not luxurious at all. Not sure why they felt they needed to charge the rates they charge I found a great place down the road (Hotel Luna Azul) half the price for a better room, with better food, and a better view. We stayed there for 2 nights and we had only planned on staying one total including the stay at Harmony. Lesson learned. We will definitely be going back to Luna Azul.

Perfect Harmony!!!
This was my daughters and my 2nd stay at te Harmony house. we couldn't be in Costa Rica and not stay there! It is perfect in every respect! From the moment you arrive service is impeccable. Everyone is welcoming, helpful and smiling! The yoga classes are a good relief from the travels required to get there. This is the only negative but trust me its so very worth it once you arrive! The breakfast (included) is so filling that lunch isn't necessary, ceviche is a must as are the huge sushi rolls! However you cannot leave without having their famous passion fruit cheesecake. The juice bar is a special added treat as well. And the Wellness center is also amazing. The beach is great and a short stroll down a path ... the pool is a great way to end everything. Choose your shower indoors or out with the most delicious shampoo and bath wash. Do not miss this hotel if you are anywhere nearby!

The Harmony Hotel is a beautiful place to stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and the food was fabulous. The location is perfect. A very short walk to the beach and great surf break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, only wish it could have been longer!

Fabulous Oasis
Harmony Hotel is located in Nosara Beach (Playa Guiones), surf beach with little shade and unspoil scenery. It is a place for relaxation and meditation. The surf can be strong at times. We had the cocos room and it surrounds the pool. Staff is wonderful and there is turn down service at night. No TV, AC works fine, and private enclosed patio with outdoor shower in each of the room and private bungaloos throughout. The restaurant is mainly vegetarian fare (organic food, fish, shrimp, tofu and lots of veggies & fruit). Breakfast comes with the room, and is a nice way to start off the day. The juice bar is a must, fabulous concoctions of fruit juices and smoothies. For pizza try Il Peperoni (local spot 2 miles down the road). Cold beer and fabulous wood burning pizzas. The hotel has a filtration system which is a big plus, so the water is drinkable throughout the entire site. There is a guard at the main gate, and one at the back gate was you exit to the beach. It is manned 24 hours so you can leave the surfboard there. it's about a 3 min walk down a path to the beach from the hotel. The yoga classes are incredible. Best place to stay in Nosara if you happen to venture to that part of costa rica. Departure tax per person is currently $29, cash/colones is preferred otherwise extra fee to charge on CC.

Bungalow in Nosara = Luxury & Amazing Food!
We live in Tamarindo (aprox 2 hrs N) & lived in Costa Rica for 6 yrs. We've been past guests here 5 times. It IS a bit pricey, but I need convenience & comfort (single Mom) -Also since I've 3 kids, & Bungalows hold 4 ppl, it works for us. A Bungalow was $280/night (incl tax) w/free Internet & free Breakfast. The BEST thing about the Harmony is the food! Maybe the BEST restaurant in in the area! Food's made w/local (grow their own) ingredients & not only is it healthy, it's gourmet, interesting & moderately priced w/nice selection & sushi. Service is great, as is the bar selection & wine list. Free breakfast isn't typical, instead a choice of 6-8 different AMAZING menu items! Honestly, this hotel has many, many great qualities, but the food has always been my favorite.

from the moment we checked in, the attentiveness of the staff was great. the food in the restaurant was excellent and the quiet bar scene exactly what you want on a getaway vacation. The pool is beautiful and the beach with the rolling surf and surfers is a 5 minute walk away. A real gem!

Wonderful time. Great staff clean rooms unbelievable beaches highly recommend Hotel restaurants bit pricy but if walk to village on footpath there are great restaurants. We ate at pacific azur 4 nights it was so good.

Perfect Eco-lodge for Surfers and Yogis
This eco-lodge is prefectly positioned a short walk down a private path from Playa Guiones. It provides a level of amenities appropriate to surfers and yogis, through open-air facilities including a restaurant, separate juice bar, and spa/yoga room. It is beautifully landscaped with a lovely oudoor pool. As a small lodge, don't expect lots of facilities, workout rooms, etc., but you can rely on an attentive staff and lovely setting. The hotel is a short walk into the village for other restaurants and shops, although the walk is along a dusty road that really should get some pavement. Not easy to get to compared to some other Costa Rican venues, Nosara/Guiones is definately worth the effort. Daily yoga is provided at the hotel and at other locations in the area.

Our experience at the Harmony Hotel was like everyone else who rated the hotel as highly as we did. The service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond. The hotel, the grounds and the location were all excellent. We would definitely stay at the Harmony if we return to Nosara and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Nosara.

We stayed 2 nights on route to our primary destination. I can't say enough good things about the quality of food that Harmony serves! FRESH and LOCAL and appealing!! FISH was do die for! And if you are Vegan the food was fantastic! The bed was the most comfortable of all the places we stayed in Costa Rica! The staff so kind and helpful. Pool was very nice....the only thing that I wish is that is was on the beach...Did I mention the A/C? Coming from alaska we were very grateful to have such a great one in our room.

Harmony Hotel - Costa Rica is wonderful!
Really enjoyed my stay at Harmony! If you are looking for a place in Nosara this is it. Great service and amenities (very close to beach, yoga and restaurant). The food is wonderful and you must try the juice bar. The best part is you will make friends quickly with other guests so if you are flying solo you will find a nice community of travelers to connect with.
