The condo was great! Within walking distance of everything! Check-in was a breeze. The condo had everything we needed with the comforts of home away from home. Will definitely return!

Decent place to lay your head.

Pros: It was quiet. It was clean. Box fans and extra blankets inside the closet Has an in room washer / dryer
Cons: REAL A/C units (or central air) could be installed. It was really HOT inside the unit both day and night. Not enough lighting. Too dim. Fix dryer.
Location: Lots of hiking / biking opportunities and close to city bus Walkable area if you need supplies from the nearby Rite Aid. Short drives to scenic area
We arrived at 4am due to a delay in our flight. However, the paperwork was in an after hours lock box outside the main office just as I was instructed. I forgot the combo to the lockbox and called their emergency number and the person who answered my call was VERY pleasant and helpful and gave me the correct lockbox code to get my paperwork for my room. Our room was very warm when we arrived. The hotel description mentions that they have A/C, however, you should know that this is not a typical A/C unit..... it is a portable A/C unit that sits on the floor in the living room and has a hose that exhausts out the living room window. Therefore, it's not like you can roll it to the bedroom at night. I had it set on 63 at night but it did not cool the living room kitchen area to 63*F... if anything, I would say, it cooled it to maybe 75*F. Thankfully I found two box fans in the closet in the bedroom and had the A/C in the living room and both box fans in the bedroom on, but it was still on the warm side and we had to kick off the comforter to sleep more comfortably. Kitchen has everything you need for meals. Fridge cools okay but not the greatest. Don't even try washing your clothes in the in-unit washer/dryer...... My clothes were in the dryer for 1 hour and soaking wet when I took them out. I had to return home with a suitcase full of WET CLOTHES the next day.

We loved our stay at Cooperbottom Inn. Our only suggestion would be to have the 2nd portable air conditioning unit set up in the bedroom. My husband is very handy so he set it up but if he had not been able to rig it we would not have been able to sleep in the bedroom. The temperatures the nights we were there stayed in the high 80's and after days of 103 and 105 the bedroom would not have cooled down.

It would be nice to have some staff at location.

Pros: Location was good, room was nice.
Cons: Accurate advertising so one knows what they are getting, instead of finding out the inconveniences after booking.
Booked on Orbitz, but nowhere did it state that there was no staff on site. I had to check in at a separate location and the phone number provided for questions sent me to two separate recorded messages with multiple options. It took 10 minutes of guessing which options to choose ("select X to talk to a person", was sadly not an option...) to finally talk with someone who really couldn't help us anyway. I understand the remote checkin for a condo, but please let me know before I book the place so I can avoid it. The day after I booked the condo I received an email stating I had to check in at a location separate from the condo, and I couldn't check in before 4, but the office only stayed open until 5. Not particularly convenient.

Old property in great location

Minuses: very outdated (non-digital stove, holes in drawers), mixed impression of service - some people are very helpful, some ... don't appreciate an accent, saying least. Pluses: very quiet, excellent location (one shuttle stop to mountain and since there are several shuttles, they run every 10 min; walking distance to full grocery store; 15 min walk/5 min shuttle to historic town), great price for skiing resort. Basically, I rarely book 3,5 property, but it was last second trip and it was not much choices. If you don't care to stay in the old property, can avoid much communication with service and can find good deal, I would definitely recommend this place.

Poor choice for ski vacation

This hotel is not within walking of anything but a bus is nearby, no on-site manager, had to go to another location to get a key, big furniture in very small rooms, one room hot while other is too cold, not enough blankets, unconformable pillows, too small for two adults and one child.

Copper Bottom is a value from a price standpoint. The unit was clean and comfortable, but had a terrible odor that waxed and waned. Our unit faced the street and was very noisy which made sleep difficult. The hot tub was unavailable for reasons that were unclear. The desk staff were variable in their helpfulness. Check in was easy and smooth. When we requested a later check out, we were refused without even checking.

The Hot Tub is no longer in operation, and hasn't been for a couple of years. We do not market or sell the hot tub as part of the stay, however, there is still signage throughout the building that the HOA has not yet removed. Thank you for sharing your experience.
