The toilet in our room was broken the Entire Weekend. We could not put anything in it or it would overflow. Staff was aware of the problem and even told us it has been an issue for a while. It was uncomfortable, inconvenient and embarrassing to go to the lobby restroom every time we needed to make a Bowel Movement.

Great place, beware of dreaded RESORT FEE!Posted Sep 17, 2016 on Hotels
Place was great. Rooms are small but had all I needed. The only downer was the feared resort fee that they don't tell you about until you get there. $15/day, wasn't real happy, hope hotels.com sorts this out because they say everything is included.....NOT!

Nice stay at the Park PlazaPosted Nov 1, 2014 on Hotels
The room at the Plaza was very comfortable. The room was nicely decorated and clean. I would definitely stay there the next time l visit Park City.

Pros: Full kitchen, excellent pool area, fire place.
Cons: Cheap fixtures, poor insulation (door seal, etc.). Parking lot view from our room wasn't great, but the fall colors on the mountains made it up.
Location: In a business park, short drive from PC Main Street.
We recently stayed at the Park Plaza in Park City for a weekend getaway before our baby arrives (due in December). The price was competitive (minus the resort fee add-ons) and we needed a full kitchen, so this fit our needs. The room was convenient, we enjoyed the kitchen, fireplace and comfortable bed. The swimming area was also very nice. We were somewhat disappointed in the thin and poorly insulated walls and doors (you could hear everything outside of your room), as well as the cheap fixtures, etc. (TP holder was placed just above the garbage and was so loose, a roll could easily drop right into the waste bin). I would say that the hotel is marketed better than it delivers. Our room was not remodeled and updated like those in the promotional photos, for example. It wasn't that it was particularly bad, I guess I just expected it to be nicer than it was, based on favorable reviews from other travel sites, the cost of a room during the high season (we stayed off-season so it was more economical), and the promotional photos of the property.

Adequate, Just Adequate.Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Friendly and professional staff. Underground parking- Parking is a huge consideration in Park City.
Location: It was a hotel and condo area. It would be very difficult to find without GPS.
The only staff I interacted with was at the front desk for check-in and checkout. Both people were friendly, helpful and very professional. The room was very clean but the carpet was frayed in several places and the air conditioning was barely functional. When I entered the room it was nearly 80 degrees. Opening the window was much more effective. While I was waiting to checkout, other guests complained about the cleanliness of the elevator and some of the other guest areas. I couldn't find the hotel until I used my GPS. It had underground secured parking which was VERY nice and parking is a huge thing in Park City.

Not pet friendlyPosted Aug 26, 2014
The stuff from the register were complaining about my dogs(two little pomeranians), they said they were barking. My dog were 24 hours with me, I brought them with me everywhere. But they said (with an attitude) they were too noisy. This is funny because the pool was inside, in the middle of the hotel, and that was the noisy part.

Nice place. May want earplugs.Posted Apr 4, 2014 on Hotels
Clean, convenient and welcoming. Off main street pricing and still a few walkable restaurants. Try El Chubasco for local mexican. Shuttle service was great. I stayed in a suite which would have been a little tight for two, but do-able. Kitchenette was a nice amenity. Only negative here is that most rooms (all suites) surround the indoor pool which can get a bit noisy with kids in the afternoon (especially if you enjoy a post Apres' nap before getting ready for dinner).
