Bad service

I stayed 4days with my wife and baby. But I had very bad experience. I asked late checkout and I paid 3800 THB to stay until 6PM. But they closed my key after 12pm. So my baby should stay outside with wet cloth for an hour. And the hotel staff excused I had different room key which doesnt make sense at all. The staff saying it is not their fault and never said sorry before I was very upset. I do not want to recommend Cape Dara resort.

Good hotel, thankfully located outside of the main area of Pattaya city centre. The staff were very helpful, although housekeeping timings are unpredictable. Pool cleanliness was to be desired and there was one day when the smell of raw sewage was inescapable. The hotel is lovely, although wear is starting to become visible and it needs a bit of attention in places. The restaurant singer (who performs most nights) is not great. There were occasions when getting the attention of bar or restaurant staff was a challenge. There is a significant amount of construction work going on nearby. The beach was significantly cleaner than others in the vicinity, but there was always some rubbish visible and the water was not the clean turquoise one might expect.

Great Location

Pros: Location, Room size, Club Lounge, pool areas, friendly staff.
Cons: More attention to detail where some areas require a bit of paintwork
Location: Great location with a transfer into the main Pattaya resort from the hotel, giving the numerous things to do within the resort.
First time stopping in Pattaya and this hotel was perfect. Good location right on the beach overlooking from a headland position so great views over the bay.

Hotel was NOT worth the money we paid!!

- Main swimming pool which is big center of hotel s closed and being renovated. - 10 mins for check-in process - Not good smell on the floor we stay (16th floor) - Blind spot for mobile phone signal - Poor wifi signal in hotel room - Parking area not enough and not good operate on the traffic direction, rish to accidentally All mentioned above is the hotel we paid 5,500 baht for 1 night!!!

TERRIBLE! NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Clean your villa pools, varnish your hardwood floors, don't let bathtub build mould, fix your lights, invest in some comfy towels and bedsheets!
Location: Biggest red light district in the world, need I say more?
Firstly, this place was recommended to us by Expedia staff and as it turns out they put us in a city that has the largest prostitution district in the world! How could you guys do this to us for our honeymoon! Completely ruined our honeymoon. NEVER trusting Expedia advice again! The hotel is not well kept, the floors have significant wear on the wood that hasn't been re-varnished. The main pool was closed. When we got to our private villa, we found cigarette butts in our pool swimming around. In the morning we saw how dirty the pool is and the grime on the sides (pictures included). The water is also shared among other villas on the floor so you never know what you're swimming in. The buffet breakfast was very poorly done with pancakes being made out of a machine and a very budget offering in terms of food. Our lights kept on going on and off throughout the second day. The speaker system wasn't working and we had to ask for a new one. Towels are thin, bedsheets are thin, the hallway smelled like open sewage. The bathtub had mould around the edges (see photo). After two days we couldn't take it anymore and checked into The Hilton down the street which was a true five star place. We explained to Cape Dara that we weren't happy with the villa and are leaving. They didn't offer even partial refund for our last night that we didn't stay there. This place needs maintenance and management BADLY! Its a 3.5 star in North America, 4 star in Asia...on a good day.

Cons: Suggest putting the spa menu on the website.
Beachfront room with jacuzzi : very nice! Location : convenient yet not inside the most crowded/noisy area. Breakfast : superb! many choices in different cuisines. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Overall : would definitely recommend this resort

Convenient location and has tuk tuk to main road.

Swimming pool very nice view close to the beach. Breakfast choices a lot. Need to improve ventilation inside bathroom.
