Stay away of this place.

This is a small family run hotel and people who run it are very nice. So, I feal bad writing this review, but the hotel is as bad as it gets. Dirty and smelly. I would recommend to avoid this place if you have a choice. If you are still planning to stay there, reduce your expectations to the Hostel level, it would help you to avoid / reduce the disappointment.

The hotel has a great location relative to the public transportation and the small business district. It is not a new facility but I saw signs of renovation as we left. The staff is very helpful, speak several languages, including English. I like smaller hotels with local flavor, this is one of those types. I would stay there again and most likely will.

Good Value for the Money

Pros: Across street from railroad 150 meters from ferry to Sweden Restaurant adjacent to hotel Good breakfast Close to shopping Helpful/friendly staff
Cons: Carpet is a little worn
This hotel provides good value for the cost. It is clean, the beds very comfortable, the shower warm, the breakfast good, and the staff VERY helpful and friendly. It is not a First Class hotel, but you get a little more for what you normally would expect at this price. I will stay again. The only downside is the train noise, but I used a fan application on my iPhone which helped ensure I did not hear the train. Maybe you could ask for a room that doesn't face the train tracks (only three rooms face it on each floor). By the way, renovations were being made and the night got unseasonably cold with the heat shut off for renovations. The staff left the building to get me a portable heater for the night (the heat was turned on the next day). What great, caring service!

No Room!

I arrived in early evening to discover that while they had my hotels.com reservation, they had not saved a room for me. As a result, they sent me to another hotel down the street.

Will never use hotels.com again

Never stayed too far from Copenhagen cost us over 100$ to go 1/2 way tried to cancel

Hotels.com is a scam

We never stayed here was so far away from train station in Copenhagen we paid a very expensive cab ride to take us back to Copenhagen would never stay this far out of the city tried and tried to cancel your site is not friendly to use you offer best prices then won't honor them then you say you'll give us a $100 against our next hotel tried that what a scam will never use hotels.com again

Older hotel; lobby/entrance is worn and tired but our room was refurbished with new wood floor & paint. Very nice breakfast. Location very convenient but street was noisy (trains, trams, etc). Very nice service.

At first glance the hotel looks a bit tired and run down. But the rooms were clean quite large. The beds were very comfortable . Location is right in pedestrian zone of the old town. Downside is a bit of noise from street as on saturday night the party in the streets went on till morning. Would stay here again though as the other hotel was next door so noise level would be same.
