Excellent and convenient for airport travel.

I stay at this hotel every time I travel from Hancock International airport. I like early flights and this hotel is quiet, clean & the staff are friendly. They have early morning breakfast available and shuttle to the airport. I highly recommend it.

Great hotel just steps from the airport!

Pros: Accommodations, cleanliness, BREAKFAST!
Location: The proximity of this hotel to the airport makes it convenient for late night travellers. The car rental place is also located by walking distance.
I needed a place to stay close to the Syracuse airport after my late night flight, and this one was just perfect. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was super!

convenient - at airport location

Pros: convenience to airport
Cons: yes, overall cleanliness.
The room #105 was not perfect. The mirrors in both bathrooms were dirty; the light fixture above one of the sinks was corroded/rusty. There was rain in the evening and water was dripping from the window onto window sill so I had to place a towel there. Overall the room could use more care.

Hotel needs to be updated!

The staff was excellent but our room was uncomfortably gross. Our toilet seat was peeling and wet when we arrived. The sinks needed to be cleaned to get rid of all the build up. The hallways are dingy and no elevator to the second floor. The bar/restaurant, again the staff was nice but it took over an hour to get mozzarella sticks and even longer to get a quesadillas and chicken sandwich. The bar was sticky everywhere you touched. Prices were extremely high! We appreciated the proximity to the airport. It was extremely convenient and the shuttle was great but this hotel really needs to be updated.

The walls were paper thin and you could hear every door open or close and cough.

Pros: Walking distance to Syracuse airport.
Cons: Needs a little updating in the rooms.
The clerk upgraded to two full beds when I told him my sister was going to stay one night. Thank you!

Great location with easy access to airport.

We thought staff was spread too thin, doing multiple jobs. Needs a good scrub. Felt our bathroom and the bar down stairs could use some attention.

Nice hotel close to the airport, I81, Thruway.

Pros: Feels like a home away from home.
Cons: Tables in dining area have recently been replaced.
Location: You could walk to the airport in ten minutes. Easy on/off to I-81 South into Syracuse, or I-81 North toward Oneida Lake, Lake Ontario, Canada.
I have stayed at this hotel at least once a year for ten years. Staff are kind, and always aim to do their best to serve the customer. Staff turnover is low, meaning these people know the hotel and act as a family of supportive co-workers, making for a pleasant feeling. There is a private pool in the center of the hotel.
