"This Hotel has a unique feature: Sandra Pennington"
ROOM: Unlike many Hotels, the bed room is spacious, the bed is full size, the furniture tastefully appointed. the bathroom spotlessly clean. PUBLIC ROOMS: Welcoming Reception area with Sandra Pennington to introduce you to your accommodation and set the tone to your stay (superb). Dinning room, lounge and bar, all comfortable, spotless and well appointed. we were unable to see the Spa due to time constraints. SERVICE: Exsemplary, every member of staff from cleaner to manager are curtious and pleasent (With a smile on their face), nothing was too much trouble.

"Stately Barn Room trying to be Downton Abbey."
Room is in a stone barn.. One problem, the wifi quit on second day of stay. Had to go to main house to get mail. My husband and I got lost on first day in the woods beyond the garden. Had hard time finding way back. Map given was just too small and the dark was coming in. Otherwise food., staff, and room fantastic.

"Great facilities but needs a bit of love"
We spent three enjoyable nights at Seiont Manor Hotel. Our room was large and comfortable - very quiet and there was plenty of parking. The swimming pool was an added bonus. Breakfasts were good, however unfortunately we had a disappointing evening meal in the restaurant which was overpriced and had an overly complicated menu. Other guests were also unhappy with the cuisine that night and returned their meal to the kitchen. It seems that the Hotel has huge potential to be a really great facility - but it seems to need stronger input from management. It feels like it needs a bit of love and a new direction. Overall would recommend it - but probably best to go out for dinner.

Glan Morfa Lodge

Llangaffo, Gaerwen LL60 6LY - Map
We were visiting from the US and found Glan Morfa Lodge through Expedia. The owner is so accommodating and friendly. We were traveling with our 2 kids (9 & 11) and the cottage (Raven) was a breath of fresh air after staying in 3 hotels in 2 nights. The cottage was clean, spacious, updated and close to many things that we wanted to see in Snowdonia and Anglesey. My only regret was that we couldn't stay there longer. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quite get away!!

"Basic, clean and comfortable"
We had at twin room with ensuite, it was clean and comfortable. The stairs to the rooms were A bit tiring for my 80 year old mother, and the decor needs a face lift. Breakfast was pretty basic, but sufficient. Staff very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay.

Such a glorious location, literally 50 yards from the beach and in the most quaint village. The hotel is as contemporary as can be and "Captain Alun" makes you feel so welcome. Without doubt I would recommend.
