When we first entered the room it was freezing, once the radiator was put on it soon warmed up. I think the rooms should be warm prior to arrival at the hotel. All the staff at the hotel we pleasant and accommodating to any issue that arrived instantly. The meals were of good quality and good supply when ordering meals. We were pleased we were so close to the promenade and enjoyed walking on it daily both morning and evening we could not believe how wide it is. Loved the swimming pool in the hotel, and used it every day, not impressed with the fact we had to go to it in gowns and slippers provided, it seems a tad over the top in this day and age, we have stayed in many four star hotels with pools, gyms and private clients, casual is the generation were in, they don't have gown and slippers in rooms, guests are not expected to prance about in lifts and corridors looking half dressed just to go swimming. On the whole we enjoyed are stay in llandudno the town was exceptionally clean and the drivers were polite quite a shock in a nice way, keep up the good work,l only wish it could spread throughout the country.

Overall we were very happy with our 2 night break. Breakfast stunning with a huge choice, can't think that anyone would leave hungry in the morning. Evening meal a trifle expensive for what you got. We told the first waitress that we didn't want any bread but were offered rolls by 3 more waiters/waitresses before our meal arrived. Bedroom comfortable, and we made use of the huge fan at night as it was very warm. Bathroom excellent and equipped with everything you could want. Although we were on the fifth floor the lift was fast and efficient. Car park spaces limited and we were lucky someone was leaving when we arrived. Couldn't get near the car charging points during our stay as cars always parked in the bays.

Fantastic Breakfast

The best ever Hotel cooked breakfast. Plenty of choice and quality/fresh produce used. Lovely sun room looking out to sea where we had afternoon tea. Staff very helpful and allowed us to store our pedal cycles inside the hotel. We had a room on the 5th floor (519) which had a small balcony with a great sea view. No hesitation to book this hotel again.

Recent stay at The Imperial

Pros: Staff were lovely, pleasant and efficient. Loved being able to eat all our meals overlooking the bay
Cons: Can't think of anything in particular that could be improved in the hotel, we had a lovely time and would go back
Location: Plenty of seats on promenade. The pier is nearby. Tramway up to Great Orme well worth a trip, fab views & plenty for kids to do.
We stayed at the Imperial 31st July-2nd August 2016. The hotel was clean, with a comfortable bar area and large restaurant. We were able to sit in the front conservatory area for meals which gave a lovely view over the sea and down to the pier. We had all our meals in the hotel, buffet for cereals, juice etc. Cooked food, hot drinks and toast orders taken at the table. Lunch time sandwiches & soup good value and no complaints about the evening meals either. Hot plates and hot food. Car parking is limited, we arrived around noon and there was only 1 space left. There is on-road parking. Our room had plenty of storage, bed comfy, bathroom big & clean. Beach stoney and sea shelves quite quickly, probably not ideal for children in this part of the bay.

Lovely, central location

Pros: Location - very central.
Cons: Not sure anything could be done about the poor parking facilities.
Location: Nice little town, plenty of coastal walks and a very good theatre/concert venue.
Lovely hotel, close to the town centre and the theatre, which was the reason for our stay. Car parking was the only real negative; we couldn't park anywhere near to the hotel so had to take the first space we could find and walk back with our bags. The room was spotless and a very good size, though it did look on to the back of the hotel (all air con units and car park). As we were only there for one night this wasn't a massive issue. The staff were courteous and very helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent.

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, We would naturally love to have a large car park because it would make a dramatic difference to all our guests but we are fortunate in that we are one of the few hotels in the centre of the resort to offer any car parking facilities at all and find on the whole that guests, and trust you one of these, that had no problem parking on the Promenade.

Pros: Lovely room & bathroom, nice bed, great location, balcony (5th floor), friendly staff. Cons: No air con with 5th floor like a sauna, only duvet cover, no sheets. Very noisy (boiler?) during night. Parking a nightmare on weekends.

We are pleased you found the hotel very nice. Due to the historic nature of the building, the installing of air conditioning units is not currently possible. We would naturally love to have a large car park because it would make a dramatic difference to all our guests but we are fortunate in that we are one of the few hotels in the centre of the resort to offer any car parking facilities at all and find on the whole that guests, and trust you one of these, that had no problem parking on the Promenade.

Only complaint would be the bar staff

Being American, we like ice in our drinks and we like ice in our room. I know this is not the norm in the UK. At the other hotels we stayed at, the bar staff seemed eager to accommodate us by getting it even though it meant they had to go elsewhere to get a bucket full because they do not keep that quantity at the bar. With the exception of one female bar tender, the rest seemed to be a little bothered to get me ice. Even though I asked for ice to take to the room, the first guy tried to get me to accept a small glass full. When I said I would like a bucket, he did go and get it, but it took a long time and there was just as much water in the bucket as ice. The last guy I asked for ice put a small amount in the bucket from his supply at the bar and when I asked him if that was all I could have, he sent me to the receptionist for them to go get me more ice.
