Unique with lots of history

Enjoyed throughly excellent experience, more like a B&B. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Great Hotel clean nice room size jacuzzi was good and in House restaurant and room service is great.

Thought it would be pleasant....

Pros: It looked good in their ad...
Cons: See my comments above...
Location: Did not do anything local...
My room was a first floor room where outside sidewalk lights lit up the entire room at night, even with all of the window blinds closed. Slept maybe three hours. Fireplace heater that was not controlled by the room thermostat...kept turning the thermostat down while the room temp continued to rise...all the way up to 78 degrees. Turned out that the fireplace heater had a small switch located near the floor. On-Off. Front desk did not mention this when I checked in. TV was perched on a shelf up near the ceiling...in the bedroom, not in the sitting room where the fireplace was. So to watch TV you have to sit on the bed and stare up a the ceiling. TV was very small, and since it was also across the room, it seemed even smaller. Nice touch.

Great place to relax and unwind!!

Pros: Everything!!!!
Cons: Really nothing
From the moment we arrived and checked into our room, the stress of the week just melted away and we knew we had found the perfect place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary!! We had the King Suite and it was wonderful. The great thing about the Inn is that you don't even have to leave the ground, what with the J Pub and the restaurant, everything is right there and the food is excellent and both are very cozy. We will definitely be back!!!

wonderful one night get-away!

Location: Peddlers Village in Lahaska, New Hope, Doylestown
what a happy surprise this was! the JAI is really great! The room was very nice, the staff were so helpful and friendly. We absolutely loved our 1 night stay. We drove to Peddler's Village in Lahaska for the day and decided to stay at JAI for the night. I am so glad we decided to have dinner here, the food was excellent. They go the extra mile on the details, right down to the complimentary chocolate truffle (to die for) at dessert time. I had a traditional filet and my husband had a Kobe burger (yes they have lighter fare). everything was yummy. Sunday morning breakfast was totally great. This is not your usual crappy thrown together buffet. The food was terrific and plentiful, all the muffins and scones etc are probably made on site I figure. back to the Inn - the grounds are so beautiful and the property was decorated to the nines for the holidays. We cannot say enough about how wonderful this little "gem" of an Inn is. We will be coming back and hopefully soon!! Do not pass up this place!! The room price was good and with the full breakfast included it was perfect.

Old Inn

Room was small and poorly decorated. Furniture needed upgrading. Amenities were poor. There was one tissue in the box. Climate control did not work at all. My advise would be ask to see the room before you agree to it.
