Very easy for silverstone the breakfast very good

Over all it was good but found the meals on the expensive side but i would go there again we did eat out there's some very nice pubs near by

Disappointed

Pros: The garden area was pretty, the reception staff charming, the room was airy. Plenty of parking space.
Cons: The bar menu and service is poor. The restaurant is not welcoming or comfortable.
Frankly I expecting more of the Hilton. The reception and reception staff gave 100%, were charming, we found no fault with the staff here, check in/check out, the lounge seating area or the breakfast which was very good. The bar décor was ok but tables sticky and service poor. The service we experienced each time we had pre-dinner drinks, was worse than our local high street pub. One barman on a Saturday night, no Bacardi stocked and one brand of Vodka is pretty poor when charging hotel bar prices, also very limited beer selection. Not impressed! The room was 'nice', reminded me of a Travelodge I had to stay in 10 years ago and the bed was like sleeping on a board; I hasten to say I like a firm bed - but not 'Hard'. The bedroom facilities were ok with an iron, ironing board and hairdryer which was good but expected for the price we paid. The restaurant was more like a cafeteria in ambience and furnishings and a bill of well over £200 for 4 of us was definitely over priced (2 of us had desserts) when drinking average wine. The food was nice - but not on par with other restaurants charging similar prices. Service was just average, furniture and cutlery poor. Not sure we'll bother again.

So overpriced for essentially a bog standard hotel e.g. £7.50 for a bacon sandwich and then another £11 to bring it to your room!

One night stay

We had stayed at this hotel before, but must say it has improved, very comfy rooms with a sofa so not constantly having to sit on the bed, deal on all you can eat breakfast for an extra £3 for two people which was excellent and staff were very friendly and willing to address any query, most friendly and comforting place I've stayed yet

Northampton Short break

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have a swim before breakfast. Shame they want to charge £2.50 for bottle of water in room. We've stayed at other good hotels where this is provided daily free of charge! Thought meals and wine rather expensive.

Very cosy and great hotel.

It was a very pleasant stay with the family. Everything was good except the noise from the corridor was very loud and woke me up. However, I am sure you will be able to resolve that.

I do understand that a peaceful night's sleep is what you came for and I'm sorry that you were disturbed by noise from other guests. We do display notices in our corridors requesting guests to keep noise levels to a minimum, to respect other guests that may be resting. We are hopefully going to be able to start planning the guest room improvements ready for our next refurbishment and will ask that special attention is taken when looking into the sound proofing of the rooms. Pretty good.... but!

The food was good, spa good too, the service in general was great, and the hotel was comfortable. But I had to turn off the heater in the room, as it kept making loud banging noises as it heated up and cooled down. Also, there was a very heated argument going on until 4am, and nobody seemed to be dealing with it. When I brought this up with the receptionist when we booked out, she made weak excuses about both.

I am so sorry to hear that the temperature of your room was not at comfortable standard on arrival and thank you for informing us of this. We have started to put the heating on prior to check-in to ensure that the room is warm and inviting for our guests but following your comments have since decreased this. We do have a maintenance programme in place to update the hotel including the guest bedrooms and their facilities. We have started to improve our communal areas and have already redecorated and replaced the furniture and carpet in the lobby and bar. We are hopefully going to be able to start planning the guest room improvements ready for our next refurbishment and shall request that the installation of an air conditioning / heating unit is looked into. I do understand that a peaceful night's sleep is what you came for and I'm sorry that you were disturbed in the morning by noise from other guests. We do display notices in our corridors requesting guests to keep noise levels to a minimum, to respect other guests that may be resting.
