I have been at differ IHG hotels but this one lets me down every time , bathrooms are in poor condition, so are some of the rooms , lights don’t work it’s just terrible
I chose this hotel partly due to the 4 star rating it had on Orbitz. It did not live up to that rating. Our room was not very clean - cobwebs, etc. The refrigerator froze everything we put in there and could not be adjusted. If I needed anything, I had to go down to the front desk to get it. It was disappointing all around and just meh. Not worthy of 4 stars.
I saw some negative reviews and was worried, but our room was very clean, comfortable and modern. The pool was also very nice and clean, though there were only chairs and tables versus lounge chairs. The woman at the reservation desk was incredibly helpful, too. I wish I remembered her name to give her the credit she deserves. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the price we paid.
We would not go back.
The room had a very strong mildew smell even though the room was clean.
The temperature in the halls was very humid and hot like the air conditioning was off.
The front desk did not have a person there all the time so we would have to wait to be served. Once for 10 minutes.
The bar by the pool is never open.
I’ve stayed here many times, it has always been great, this time I noticed there are no longer lounge chairs at the pool, when I asked reception about it they did not know why, also the pool water was not clean, the tiki bar is no longer open and there were no options for lunch, no staff seemed to be around.
Staff weren't very friendly. Breakfast was awful, with one waitress clearing up after everyone, so lots of dirty dishes everywhere. Lift was broken. TV in my room was broken. Overall, pretty poor.
