I'm generally not a fan of the Holiday Inn, and stayed in one room for two nights and then switched to one that was closer to the elevator and felt more comfortable.

Worst Holiday Inn Express we've ever stayed in!

Our room was DIRTY every day, the amenities listed (microwave and fridge) were missing and we have to continually go the the desk to get items that should have been left in our room by housekeeping. Asked to talk with the manager and was told he was busy, was handed his business card and told that we could try to contact him later if we wanted. :(

Room was very dirty. Floors of bathroom and walls. The dresser and desk were sticky. The towels were dingy and stained. The base around the air conditioner was falling apart. The elevator was down for the duration of our stay. Overpriced and in desperate need of renovations.

They did not have enough staff to check people in. Only one clerk for about 30 people trying to check in. It wasn't the nicest Holiday Inn Express we've stayed at. Elevator didn't work either.

My stay was on a Sunday and the hotel was completely booked. I asked to check-in early, it was about 2..check-in is at 3. The front desk clerk told me they weren't doing early check-ins. After waiting outside for 30 minutes I go back in and she is checking people in. I will not ever stay there again. Besides the gal lying to me, she was not pleasant with other guests. The door to the room was open. That could be a safety issue..not very bright employees. The room could have been cleaner and it did not smell pleasant. The staff that I encountered need to be re-trained in hospitality.

Need help with customer service

Pros: the color scheme.
Cons: the wait time of getting into the room and the way that the staff dealt with it. they need to understand the concept of costumer service.
We arrived at 4:08 at had to wait in line for fifteen minutes and then were told that they room was not ready and we would have to get back in line after 20 minutes to see if the room was ready. the lobby was full of people waiting for rooms to be ready even though check in was at 3:00. And when we complained they complained to us that the cleaning people didn't show up for their shift. not our problem and they had four hours to get some rooms done. it looked like they didn't start cleaning till 3:00 and everyone had to wait. it was disappointing and they were very rude to the patrons.

Very Disappointing for a new Holiday Inn

Room has been reserved for months, arrived at 4:pm and told room wouldn't be ready for another 15-20 minutes, after an hour room was still not ready and several people were in lobby waiting for their rooms as well. had to leave for a concert without checking into room or getting keys. arrived after midnight to a room finally with a out of order elevator, got to room and smoke detector was chirping, called front desk he brought a new battery. Thermostat on wall did not work and tv wouldn't turn on. was kept awake all night by the people above stomping across the floor all night. its a beautiful hotel but absolutely terrible service and service issues.

Great Hotel, Terrible Check-In Experience

Pros: Comfy bed. Clean
Cons: Actually having rooms ready by the check in time.
Location: Nice location. Plenty of restaurants.
Showed up after earliest check in time. Room wasn't ready. We weren't the only ones. Lobby full of people waiting for their rooms to be ready. They were not prepared at all and the staff acted like it was no big deal.
