Good rate

This older La Quinta has been spruced up, but can't compete with the newer hotels in the chain. The price was very good (thru AARP) but we won't stay in that location again. The front desk staff was very nice and ensured that our room was well away from the highway noise.

enjoyed my stay. stayed at yout hotel on friday, picked my belongings up in storage that Saturday, spent the nght at your hotel Saturday night, drove tở San diego on Sunday

Nice Hotel

Pros: Free Breakfast!
Cons: Cleaner carpet and bathroom area.
This hotel was better than some that we have stayed at in the area. The room did have some staining and our hotel key had to be reset twice for us to get back into our room. We slept well and were able to eat breakfast each morning before starting our activities.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Everything.
Very nice hotel at a reasonable price. Everything was very convenient. The hotel is right next to the interstate, we parked a few feet from the door and there's a Denny's right next door to the hotel. The room was larger than most and the breakfast was very good. We were both very pleased with our stay.

Pleasant place to stay

Staff friendly close to restaurants. Breakfast was not ready till after 7:15 am. And then the biscuits were still not ready. My only problem that could not be fixed. Is that I booked via AARP which uses Expedia. I had to pay a deposit at check in due to Expedia being the collector of the room fees. The deposit would be reminbursed after check out if the room was not damaged. The attendant did say it could take up to 2 weeks for the money to be put back into my account. Not happy about that

Unfair incidentals fee

Wanted to let everyone know that this La Quinta charges a $75 incidentals fee for anyone using a prepaid service such as Hotels.com. They tell you the fee will be refunded back to your account when you check out. The following morning we found out that it could take up to 14 days before the money is refunded to your account. This fee is not charged to customers paying at the hotel.

We are so sorry we were unable to meet your expectations. We are a credit card required hotel which means we require a credit card from every guest that checks into our hotel regardless of the manner of which you book your reservation. We have two signs posted at the front desk that state if using a debt card depending on your bank it could possibly take up to 14 days to be returned to your account. Thank you and Happy Holidays.

Decent Enough

It was fine for one night to get some sleep for the night. Nothing fancy but a lot better than some hotels we've stayed in. Quiet and nice there is a Denny's in the parking lot.

Needs maintenance

Tub drain extremely clogged before arriving. One of the plug ins by the bathroom didn’t work. And the room smelled awful like someone had been smoking in there a lot.
