Overall we were happy with our stay. Exceptionally clean as you would imagine for a hotel 1 year old. Lovely interior and great location! No noise from road, no smell.
Somewhat mixed feelings however as there were a few minor problems. Staff were very helpful and friendly generally. Issue on first day as we had booked 2x double bed rooms and received 2x twin bed rooms, I went to what I thought was the manager on front desk who was not helpful, telling me they didn't have any double rooms free because they were booked up from the following day... So they had double rooms available that 1 night but we'd have to move out in the morning! Eh? Apparently they don't sell double bed rooms through Expedia and it was a mistake for Expedia to sell it (management and Expedia might want to clear that up)... Anyhow, we pushed the beds together and made do as I was too tired to argue after travel. I did however take expidias check in review later that evening and stated the issue, which resulted in a call after breakfast the following morning informing us they'd seen the review and would like to offer us two double rooms. Which was great. Shame management couldn't have seen so helpful at reception. The colplimentary champagne and fruit was also a nice touch and was well received! The girl who arranged the move was very helpful and well mannered.
Overall we enjoyed our stay despite the initial problem. Everything was simple, relaxing and well kept.
