Great Hotel

Pros: Free breakfast with many items except bananas were missing.
Cons: The hotel is excellent in all aspects and can't think of anything for improvement.
Location: Air and Space museum is a must-see and it is not far from the hotel.
The hotel is conveniently located, very clean and its staff were extremely friendly.

Terrible front desk staff

One employee at front desk doesnt know how to behave and talk properly to customers. Very Rude behavior.

Bad experience

Although the staff are nice but they have major problems. I lost my shoes in the room and their management team did not do much nor contacted me to talk about such a major incidence. They allow pets in the room and the pets noise gave me a lot of trouble sleeping. The breakfast is average but their internet was fast and good.

Pros: some staff were pleasant
Cons: communicate better among their staff so that there is not problems, this was ridiculous
Location: Location was great
We had contacted a male staff on our arrival being late and we would get to hotel hopefully by midnight, responds no problem we have your room. When we got there, the front desk gentlemen told my husband its now Dec 20th and your reservation is gone, after arguing for sometime, the gentlemen told me to call expedia it was their fault, I did , they called front desk, more disagreement, expedia tried to find us another hotel, staff came over to us and offered us a double bed room or 1 king bed room, that he had just had a cancellation.. This staff persons name was given to Expedia.. Why all of a sudden to offeres us a room.. Frustrated, Tired and irritated, came back on Dec 31 checked out Jan 1st.. Nothing really was different, they put down wrong time for wake up..good thing we also set our phones, we also had been left at the airport after turning in our car on Dec 31, staff said van would come for pick up, I called the front desk twice , got 2 different answers on time..spent 55 minutes in the cold waiting to return to BW.. Not Happy..

Cons: Don't change
Location: It is conveniently located near Dulles Airport and direct transportation is provided.
The Hotel room was not only clean and comfortable but had excellent lighting, which is important to me. Most hotels (all prices) have such dim lighting that it is almost impossible for me to find things and the staff often say they can not do anything about the poor lighting. The Staff at Best Westen was very helpful and quick to come to my aid when I made inquiries: showed me how to use the TV to find favorite stations, operate the Microwave, etc. The bath room also had excellent lighting, plenty of bath towels , and a bar to support oneself getting in and out of the tub Even though I am not handicapped, this feature is helpful and can prevent slipping.
