hotel was nice

Would be nice if staff offered to explain how the Metro Rail works. It's hard on small town people to figure stuff like that out. LOL

Very nice and convenient

It was excellent experience. If someone wants to take a flight take the reagen airport as the hotel offer free shuttle to it. Breakfast is excellent and they change things everyday so will not get bored from eating same thing.

Pros: Excellent breakfast and shuttle to the metro very convenient
Cons: Sound proofing we stayed in an adjoining room and we could hear every sound in the other room as clear as if it was in our room.
Enjoyed our stay, spent our days sightseeing in DC. Convenient to have breakfast before we left and the shuttle to the metro made it easy to get around

Even though there are no restaurants within walking distance a shuttle is available that will take you to the closest mall. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a great.

Desk personell were knowledgeable about transport

Posted May 18, 2017
Pros: The breakfast was good. The room was clean.
The most disappointing event was the shuttle transportation. It was scheduled to run every 30 minutes, but on Wednesday, it was delayed by 1 hr and 45 minutes.

Horrible!

Dingy room with a stinch. Dripping faucets. Loud noises like someone was dragging pallets around. Door jamb looked compromised. Awful!!!☹️☹️☹️

Hotel Dirty and Unsafe! Don't Stay Here!

Posted May 4, 2017
Pros: Absolutely nothing. That I wasn't shot or attacked could be considered a plus.
Cons: Have new ownership and management tear down this motel and replace with modern hotel and operate with acceptable business practices.
Location: This is in the heart of the nation’s capital. Nobody should have to start their visit with an experience like this.
This was the worst hotel I've ever been in in my life, including hotel stays in third world countries. When I arrived at the front desk at 12 midnight to check in after my flight from the west coast, the night clerk informed me that even though I had a paid Expedia reservation, no available regular inventory was available since some of the rooms failed to be cleaned and prepared properly. After 20 minutes, he informed me that they had a few "back up" rooms that were available. After another 10 minutes, he assigned a room and coded a room key. When I went to the room in a different building and put my card in the lock, a green light flashed indicating I could open the door. When I opened the door, I saw that the room was occupied by two people! I immediately shut the door and walked back to the front desk, informing the night clerk of this horrendous situation. He assigned me a room in that same building upstairs. The stairwell was full of trash and what appeared to be drug paraphernalia. There were people standing in the hallway smoking at 12:30 am. I then heard the night clerk calling up to me from the parking lot, telling me that the new room was the wrong room. After another 5 minutes, a security guard gave me yet another key. When I got to the third room, it was empty but the lights didn't work and the room had a musty odor from mildew and cigarette smoke. I called Expedia and they booked me in a real hotel. There's more, but I'm out of space. Don't stay here!

Nice hotel close to Arlington and D.C.

Posted May 3, 2017
Pros: The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast bar was wonderful. The hotel next door, comfort Inn had a small restaurant that served dinner.
Location: It is very close to Arlington Cemetery, and you can reach anyplace in Washington D.C. on the Metro.
The shuttle left every 1/2 hour and dropped off and picked up at the closest Metro rail station, so getting around was easy and inexpensive. The shuttle also went to Reagan airport. We visited Arlington National Cemetery while we were there. It's Amazing!
