Aging hotel, however they are upgrading.

Pros: The staff was wonderful.
Cons: Update and take care of room comfort. Also, when checking out, was told a receipt would be emailed to me (5/24) still have not received 5/25!
Location: Located close to, and easy access to Arlington National Cemetary-where my brother was being buried w/full military honors. Food, clothing, close by.
Comfort Inn-Landmark is an aging hotel, however they are in the process of upgrading. 1 new elevator was installed while I was there. So I give them a "5" for effort. The complimentary breakfast at IHOP on the main floor was a very unexpected treat! I just hope the next project will be to take care of the room temperature. The air conditioning unit in the room cooled the room somewhat, however, the humidity in the room is unreal!! I could not get my hair dry after a shower and washing-finally gave up and went out with frizzy hair.

Pros: Pros: Shuttle to the Metro station.
Pros: Shuttle to the Metro station. Cons: Elevators not working. It almost took half an hour to go my floor from lobby because of one only functioning elevator and that was occupied by the hotel and cleaning staff. I eventually took staircases to go to the floor I was located. Poor services.

Pros: The staff was courteous , friendly and informative.
Cons: Facelift hard sticking , slamming doors, commodes that keep running
Location: Food within walking distance
The hotel had one slow elevator( they are renewing). The hotel is in need of a face lift

Hotel in seedy neighborhood

Pros: It was right off Duke...heavy traffic but convenient getting places.
Cons: Running water in the shower/tub would be nice. Descent coffee in the lobby and room would be much appreciated.
Location: Right off Duke...and 395...easy access to drive to Old Town Alexandria, or get on 395 and go everyplace....also buses are on Duke.
the hotel is tucked back off 395 next to an IHOP in a very "iffy neighborhood". Do not wander outside in the evening hours. The room itself was ok, if you did not need to bathe. The shower/tub would not turn on any water. The staff did nothing about it, charged full price, in fact when we checked out two mysterious charges of over 50.00 had been added to our bill. They could not explain...they were hopefully removed. I never felt safe in this hotel. The coffee was horrible...never again.

Good experience

Cons: I think a little carpet cleaning or replacement would make a big difference but over all we had a great stay.
Location: Great location..
First time and was a little scared due to a few reviews, this is not the Trump hotel by no means but it was very clean , beds were comfortable, very hot water ,nice staff , rooms could use little updates, I would definitely stay again and the breakfast was great at I hop. Thanks comfort inn.

Overpriced, noisy - stay elsewhere

Pros: Only reason it didn't get 1 star: Bed was firm, pillows comfy, clean bathroom. Clean towels and bed. Easy climate control and good tv channels. WIFI
Connected to a 24 IHOP in a sketchy shopping center. That is where your "free breakfast" is included. If you stay on a weekend like I did, the line was out the door and I just got a coffee to go. When I checked in at night I was nervous bc I had suitcases I had to leave in my car and asked if the parking lot was secure got an un-reassuring answer from hotel clerk. Told not to park near the iHOP. Elevator was broken and the only working one took forever, was hot, and had broken buttons. Got to my floor and there were creepy construction workers leering at me in the hallway. Turns out they were staying across the hall. Got offended when I didn't say Hi back, so then the rest of the night I felt nervous. They yelled to each other in adjoining rooms instead of using room phones. Walls paper thin. My room - broken light, my headboard vibrated whenever my neighbor moved in their bed. Not OK. Furniture was old and stained. (Beds were clean though) Will never stay here again and for the money you can find nicer options in the area.

Not too far from DC

I didn't have any issues with my stay. I will say some renovations would go a long way though. The attached IHOP made for a great continental breakfast.

Older and comfortable

Hotel was kept nicely but it needs to be continual, it appears to be half done. Bathrooms may need mildew remover in order for it to be fully clean. Overall not bad to just put your head down.

Terrible hotel

Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Almost everything needs to be improved.

The hotel looks okay from outside and the pics available online are just a trick to get people to book it. From inside the hotel stinks so bad that you dont want to walk inside it. The elevator was about to break down. When I sit on the bed I start itching like crazy. The furniture inside the room was terrible. Looks like I am staying in a low class motel. Not worth staying. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
