Cons: TRAIN YOUR FRONT DESK. THEY NEED TO BE ABLE TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM
Location: FOOD, SHOPPING
CONSIDERING THE LOW COST OF THIS HOTEL, ONE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. SET YOUR EXPECTATIONS LOW. I DONT HAVE COMPLAINTS FROM THE HOTEL SINCE I ENDED UP GETTING WAY MORE THAN EXPECTED, AT A SUPER DECENT PRICE. * FREE PARKING * FREE BREAKFAST * PET FRIENDLY * COMFORTABLE ROOM * LOTS OF COFFEE * FREE WIFI * MORE THIS TO ME WAS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE I WAS ONLY STAYING HERE BECAUSE I WAS VISITING WASHINGTON (AND THIS IS ONLY 20 MIN AWAY), BUT ALL DC HOTELS WOULD'VE COST ME AT LEAST $500 FOR 1 NIGHT - NOT WORTH IT. OVERALL I WAS PLEASED.

Horrible and dirty hotel

Pros: nothing
The room was very dirty. We booked for two days but could able to spend a night. Room smelled really bad , acrpet was way dirty and bathroom was dirty.

If you're just looking for a place to lay your head and don't care about luxury then this is for you. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. My AC wasn't working because of a blown fuse the night I checked in. I had to call twice to get it fixed the next morning. The fridge was noisy and the tv cable was not in HD. I don't want this to seem like a bad review because that is not my intention. If you're trying to save, this option is decent. However, if you don't mind spending that extra $10 per night, go for somewhere better.

Nice location

Hotel was your average Comfort Inn. It was in a nice location near the interstate with plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Near Old Town Alexandria. It was very nice having a 24-hour Ihop located in the hotel itself and having complimentary breakfast at Ihop provided. While limited for offers it was enough food with the two options given. The door to our room was dented at bottom causing it to stick when opening and closing, and there were a few holes in walls but I would stay there again, because of location and rates. You just know going in that it isn't a 4 star and shouldn't expect it to look like one. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. That was a nice bonus in a hotel in such a large city.

Comfort inn nightmare

Front desk staff were disorganized. Check in and check out process were slow. We asked for 1st floor if possible cause we had our dogs. Lady said 4th floor is designated for dogs. The man next to her put us on the 6th floor which was the highest. We got to our room and it wasn't clean. Pillows were in a pile on the end of the bed. Only sheets on the bed. Later someone is breaking into our room. It ended up being the maid. She didn't even knock first. Very unsettling. Horrible experience.

Horrible manager, unsafe parking lot

There are potholes in the parking lot, my friend fell while we were checking in .she got hurt and there is no first aid kit in the front desk. They had no lighting in the parking lot. They did not offer any medical attention I told them to put up cones to cover the potholes in the lot they did not, in the am they would not give us breakfast that was included, said it ended an hour earlier than the website. Horrible experience.

Great Location, Not So Great Experience.

Cons: Cleanliness Printers Elevators
Location: Theres a mini strip across the highway with stores and restaurants. Also behind the hotel there are options for food etc.
I stayed for 2 night with a friend and the biggest problem was that on day 1, one of the elevator didn't work so everyone was piling into 1 elevator even though that one elevator had a sign that said only 6 to 7 people. On day 2 both elevators did not war and I had to climb up and down FIVE flights of stairs to get to my room. It was very difficult in the heat. The second problem was that I saw a cockroach at night by my room door, INSIDE the room. And the third problem was that the printer down stairs didn't even work. The I hop breakfast was good for a free breakfast, and the location of the hotel was also very convenient.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, and very friendly staff. Pool needed better hours, closed too early, but overall my family and I enjoyed the pool. Breakfast had everything and was satisfactory. Would recommend this hotel, which was also close to the main attractions.
