The lobby is sweet, comforting with a bar and sitting area by "fire places" (walls with fire in them that give off just a little heat). Rooms have a small refrigerator and are spacious.

Get interior just to lounge out inside the hotel

Pros: Everything.
Location: The mall is literally across the street!
Loved everything about the hotel, the only problem we had was at breakfast I put together a plate full of fruit for my husband and I and there was hair in it. I we were both super disappointed. Other then that the hotel was beautiful and clean!!!!

convenient locale

Pros: location and room was spacious
Cons: free wifi
Location: mall, George Mason U, plenty of restaurants in vacinity
Have stayed here before and while a bit pricey, found the accomodations to be excellent. This time however, arrived to find that pool was gone, replaced by a larger fitness area, and most disappointing, was the fact that wifi was not free in the room. Even less costly hotels offer that feature.

Thank you for your return visit, and for your comments, Gwen. Unfortunately, in order to expand our fitness center to over 3x it's previous size, we did have to eliminate our indoor pool. This decision was reached, in large part, by listening to what the majority of our guests would value more during their time with us. While the fitness center was overwhelmingly more valued, I am sorry that you were disappointed (and surprised) to find that the pool was no longer available.

Hotel was nice but overwhelming smell of cleaner/fragrance upon walking into lobby and as severe asthma sufferer it was a bit too much to handle. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Would give 5 star only if internet and breakfast buffet was included in price of stay, not additional costs.

I arrived late after multiple flights and 10 different time zones. Staff was ready for my arrival and made sure I had everything I needed to relax and recover from my travels. Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable.

Close to everything we needed

Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good food and mall shopping is in walking distance. The hotel was a short drive to everything we needed in Fairfax.

Nice hotel near the mall... our room faced into the hotel with a balcony overlooking the inside. This was different, but I didn't mind it. However, because it faces into the hotel, there are no windows. So, it's very dark in the mornings which I didn't really mind. The staff were all very friendly.

Great location

Pros: location close to everything, the staff was wonderful
Cons: the temperature in the room and hotel itself
The hotel was very nice, clean and close to food and shopping. The only complaint we had is the room was very warm, we turned the temperature down but oh course we really don't have control of the thermostat. I would guess and say it was 75 in our room, but the lobby and hallways to the rooms were stuffy and very very warm!!
