Convenience

This hotel was within reasonable distance to my son's home. However, I was truly disappointed in the hotel in general. The photos of the hotel are apparently really old. The room was very clean - until I went into the bathroom and saw all of the mold and ceiling tiles falling down! This really changed my opinion quickly. Needless to say, it was nice that I could go to my son's home for the day. On a positive note, the breakfast bar was comparable to other hotels I have visited. Lot of variety. I would probably note select this hotel for future visits, though.

Good location. Quiet

Pros: Staff, location, quiet
Cons: A bit of a face-lift for the entrance and the guest rooms
Location: Easy access to main roads in DC area
Very convenient location. Hotel showing its age but staff to include Michael at the front desk were excellent and very pleasant and helpful.

Very friendly employees

The lady at the front desk was so very friendly. Forgot her name but she was Indian. I had a nice conversation with her and she couldn't be anymore nicer. I love to see people like that, working at front desks. She was great!

We stayed for 8 nights to attend an event. Restaurants and super markets were close by. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a good place to stay.

False advertisement

Hotel stay was uncomfortable, old building and furniture, small room and smell old. Pictures online look better than actual hotel.

Online Pictures not accurate

Pros: Location to the Patriot Center, that is all
Cons: Update your online pictures and make sure front counter staff are accurately tracking room assignments you don't want to put your guest at risk.

The picture is not the hotel by any stretch of the imagination. We checked in greeted with a smile ok we were adjusting. Received our room assignment got to the room and it was OCCUPIED what an unreal RISK to hotel guests strangers gaining access to your room. What if scenarios just running through your mind. Back to the front desk for another room.....blaming the other staff, apologies etc. New room it was ok but nothing like the pictures online for this hotel. If you just want a quick rest stop then this hotel is for you. The room rate price needs to be dropped. I've stayed at much better.

Convenient location in a reasonably quiet area; also, the rooms were clean and the bed sleep great. Hotel staff at reception area lacked in providing a welcoming and helpful demeanor. Friendly and helpful communication along with a smile would correct this negative.

Close to George Mason Univeristy

The room was not ready for us as we arrived after 3 but it worked out for us just as well since we had to go to the store. The staff also allowed us to utilize their big refrigerator for our leftovers we had from a picnic until we could get them to my daughter's new apartment after graduation. The toilet overflowed once and the manager came to clean it up with plunger and cleaning products.

Pros: the hotel staff .....close to the job for this week
Cons: cheap price.....but sometime its no worth it
I went out about 8am and returned at 4pm room had not been cleaned. At 6pm still waiting for a maid. My room was assigned to 2 different people while I was still in it. I was initially assigned a room that someone was in use. The staff is very friendly and try their best to resolve every issue but there just seem to be too many.
