Be careful where they put you

Pros: Cookie cutter as expected. Other than our issue all was fine
Cons: Close down room 209. Unfair to put guests in that room!
Location: At least we were rather close to King Street, which and amazing restaurants along it. Very nice to walk down to the water. We ate at Hen Quarter.
We got to the hotel around 2 pm. It was clean and check in was quick. The room was clean and the AC worked fine. Bathroom was fine. The reason I am giving the room comfort a low star is because around 4:00 a.m we heard this horrendously loud banging on the wall behind our heads. Realized room 209, which is actually on the lobby floor, backs up to the kitchen area. At that point the wasn't much we could do. We tried to get some sleep after the prep stopped but, it was kind of futile. When we left we were heading to Mt. Vernon for the wreath laying ceremony and due to the fact that we hardly slept were running late. No time to stop and complain. Ended up missing the wreath laying ceremony. We were very disappointed. The whole reason we stayed at this hotel was to make it to that ceremony.

Four night stay

Pros: The staff was very friendly. They greet you everywhere you go. My kids woke up late one day and despite the free breakfast ends at 9:30, the same time
Cons: None
Location: 20 minutes from the White House and Lincoln Memorial. 8 minutes from National Harbor.
I stayed in this hotel for a nearby conference. Location is few minutes from Washington DC and National Harbor, MD.

Good Business Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for a few days when I had meetings at Ft. Belvoir. The hotel was conveniently located. Although I didn't use it, it offered a shuttle between the hotel and the Huntington metro stop. There were several restaurants in the immediate area. Check in was quick and easy. My room was certainly large enough and was neat and clean. The television worked well and their was a refrigerator available. The air conditioner was a little loud, but otherwise worked fine. My only difficulty occurred when I was checking out; I couldn't get a receipt from the desk. When I returned home, Hotels.com customer service helped to resolve that issue and a receipt was emailed to me. I would stay there again.

Pros: The convenience and the fact that it was quiet, probably due to the low number of people there that night. The breakfast was very sufficient / tasty.
Location: N/A Only there to visit my dentist in the morning as I live pretty far away.
The bed was "floppy", felt like I was on top of a box. The bathroom toilet would flush and then would flush again and again. I had to take the back cover off and giggle it to stop.

Nice hotel for the price

Although the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, I had to switch rooms because there heater/AC was out as well as a couple of outlets in the room. Also, the walls are a little thin as I had a party going on next door until about 2AM but at that point, I didn't want to move rooms again. Other than that, a great stay!

Awesome stay!

I had an amazing stay at this lovely Holiday Inn Suites. The hotel room was large and very clean. The front desk staff were very pleasant and greeted me with a smile. The breakfast was AWESOME. I will surely return again.
