Convenient to Washington DC

Pros: Convenient to train and Washington DC
Cons: Air conditioning was poor, room was hot. Brought it to their attention nothing done.
Location: Washington DC nearby, many things to do.
Could not check into the hotel until around 4:00PM an hour late.

Fun stay with friend

Had a great two day stay. Enjoyed the easy trolley bus, the great breakfast and lunch thanks to staff that was happy smiling and courteous even at closing time. Comphy room clean. Quiet

Mediocre Hotel at best, for business travel

Room could've been a little cleaner. Had a pair of underwear from the last guest on the luggage stand. The business center was very basic & the internet service was horrid.

Great location and hotel

I had a great time staying at this hotel for a work trip. It is located near a lot of restaurants and was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable and staff was more than excellent.

Great location

Hotel was away from all of he hustle and bustle, but easy to get to everything. Shuttle to airport is great! Hotel staff very nice and rooms clean and comfortable

There was not enough towels in the room to accommodate my family. I called the front desk to bring extra towels and they never brought the towels I requested.

Hotel experience

Cons: Customer service follow through would go a long way.
Location: Location is fine. There are lots of bike racks nearby to rent bikes and there are plenty of food options in walking distance.
Our hotel experience was just ok. The staff are all friendly but did not follow through on anything. Our fridge was not working properly and we requested it to be fixed 4 times and it never was fixed. We purchased groceries prior so this was disappointing. The hotel drivers seemed to act upset when we asked to be dropped off at other locations within the allotted one mile radius of the hotel. They seemed to only be concerned with getting to and from the airport.

Washington D.C.

Pros: Hotel was ok. Staff was helpful and the room was modern and clean. And all facets of room i.e. plumbing, coffee maker, TV worked properly.
Cons: Possibly a little better offering of food services, although I was not dissatisfied.
Location: Location was typical D.C. Metro was a little far away. There were restaurants within 3 blocks, a McDonalds next door and a CVS within two blocks.
Spent 6 days in D.C. Never been on the 4th. The package price I received from Expedia was very good. We used mass transit the entire time (Metro). The walk to the Metro was a little long, about .8 of a mile, but manageable and in an area where we felt safe. We averaged at least 6 miles on foot each day walking back and forth to the Metro and seeing the sites in D.C. If you like staying in shape as I do, that works as well. I always enjoy visiting the Capitol and indulging in the history of our country. The only negatives I can recall is the increased security with the constant searching of body and possessions is really annoying and some aggressive street vendors.

The maid did not clean room daily.

The experience was ok. Not a four star hotel. Mold in shower area. Maid didn't clean room. Saw water rings from water bottle still on console.

Overall ok, hotel is pretty outdated and you need to be prepared for it. However the price was reasonable and not staff was courteous plus free wi-fi made it manageable.
