Great hotel; nice room; comfortable bed.

Pros: Very comfortable bed; good tv.
Cons: Carpeting very tired.
Location: Great spot; perfect for my event, and close to airport, eating, transportation, etc.
Great hotel, but carpet in room could use reno. Two minor bids - ceramic bathroom floor unbelievably cold; suspect the cold air gets in under the floor. Also, had forgotten deodorant, and card in room said I could ask for and get a small one sent up for free; so, I called, and was promised one; after more than 90 minutes waiting, I could no longer wait, and so had to leave; when I got back, nothing. So, I called again; still a really long time, so had to leave again; this time was waiting for me in the bathroom, in a very nice "delivered" bag; nice service, but way too long, and not good it got dropped the first time.

Nice hotel

It is a nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, I would say it is a perfect hotel to stay. The hotel description said that there was parking available and the reality is that there is VALET parking only and VERY EXPENSIVE!!! The last night we slept there there were women shouting and laughing on the room next to ours, we called several times to the front desk and nothing.

Honeymoon trip

Pros: The employees were very nice and helpful. The concierge employees were very nice.
Cons: I believe the amenities in the Ambassador Suite need to be desperately upgraded

This was me and my husband's honeymoon trip. I booked the Ambassador Suite because when I called and spoke with a hotel employee they said that was the absolute best room they had. When we got into our hotel room I was actually kind of disappointed of the room. It honestly looked very basic didn't even come with a fridge which was very surprising to me because I have never been in a hotel room without a fridge. In my opinion, there was nothing really deluxe or fancy about it. To me there was nothing different it had what a normal hotel room would besides the little sitting area. Honestly if I knew what the room was going to be, I would not have paid the expensive price I did. It definitely was not honeymoon worthy. Another thing that was a negative for me was that our neighbors on the balcony next to us were smoking marijuana on their balcony. Now I know recreational use just became legal in Arlington however I do not think it should be allowed in a hotel especially the Hyatt. Would i come to this hotel again? Yes I think I would. However, if I do come again I will not be wasting my money on the Ambassador Suite.

Room Problems

I called about five days before arrival to get a Roll away bed for my room. I have them my confirmation information and they said one was reserved. I checked in and they said I could not have one in the room I had. So they upgraded to a suite so I paid more money and still didn't have 3 beds. The bathroom shower did not have a door and the bathroom door did not have a lock and there was a draft in the room because the patio door did not have a seal.

Good during the week, the worse during weekend

I stayed for travel work, during the week I do not complain, good breakfast and the staff of the restaurant is good. Everything change on saturday, they had a party and they didn't control it, noise in the rooms until 4.30 a.m., I was calling to front desk but they didn't do anything. I consider that night the worse that I had in a hotel in all my trips. They should had ways to benefit the guest that suffer of the bad service that they provide, but next day it was like nothing happened.

3.5 star hotel near the airport

It was just OK. The maintenance work that had previously been done left a lot to be desired, as did the velvet sofa. The mattress was not comfortable.

Favourite hotel of our stay

Pros: room, price.
Location: In Crystal City, so a way from centre, but easy links.
This was one of those places that when you was in the room you think wow. For the very reasonable price we payed this exceeded our expectations. Room was large, bed was huge all very clean. Nothing negative to say. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to Washington DC center

Pros: Location to center
Cons: Parking garage rates. We were told the fee to be $10 a day however it cost us $20 because of some strange time rules of entering garage.
Location: Washington center, monuments, White House, museums, etc.
Loved the location and surrounding areas. Hotel itself is easy to reach from the main freeway. The area around was not crowded during my stay and I liked it. I got a very good deal for one night stay and my family enjoyed the hotel a lot.
