Anniversary Date ruined

I was excited to stay at this hotel as at is the week of our 15 year anniversary. We got married during 9-11 15 years ago and wanted this to be a calm stay away. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I slipped and fell in the bathtub upon placing my foot in the tub. I was taken away by ambulance and treated at a local hospital. I returned with brace, cain, and many injuries. I am so sad. We were sent lunch up by hotel manager but the hotel offered nothing else. I am completely disappointed and very injured.
I no longer felt safe in the hotel facility and we left. Upon asking for at least a refund we were told that we would have to take it up with Expedia. I have not heard anything else from hotel management or the likes.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your experience with us. We deeply regret you had an accident and truly sorry your special time was disrupted. Upon your return, we did follow up to ensure you were comfortable and as a good will gesture provided the meal.
I was aware of the incident but believe some of the details were miss communicated. I'm sorry for this and will be sure to follow up.
