Nice hotel near public transportation

Posted May 9, 2017
Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: More plug outlets. Like most folks we traveled with our electronics and had to take turns charging them with the few plugs available.
Location: Hotel is set on a hill overlooking a clean, well kept street in a residential area with not a lot of traffic
My mom and I enjoyed our stay while visiting Washington, DC for 7 days. Staff was friendly, room always cleaned and I really liked that the hotel was s short 2 min walk to public transportation (bus to train station) because that is how we got around.

Thank you for with us. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Please know that we are very limited in what we are able to offer for the continental breakfast selections due to the Arlington County Health Department regulations. There are many restaurants close by that serve a full breakfast menu. We hope that you stay with us again when you are in the area.

Cheap Hotel in Arlington

Posted Apr 14, 2017
Pros: It was cheap and close to the Arlington National Cemetery
Cons: Just about everything.
We were looking for a place close to the Arlington National Cemetery and that was reasonable. On both those counts this place works. But don't expect any bonus stuff. The room was small and dark. The breakfast was pretty much non-existant and the parking was limited.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We are limited as to what we are able to serve for the continental breakfast due to the Arlington County guidelines that we must follow. Just to let you know there is a switch on the wall that regulates the lamps and the outlets. I apologize that this was not communicated to you.

Ok hotel for a quick stay

Posted Apr 11, 2017
We spent 2 nights just to do a basketball game and tour around DC. It was a convenient area to get around from, and not far from attractions. The room itself was bare minimum...the free WiFi disconnects quickly. There was only 1 accessible outlet other than in the bathroom. Bed was cozy, but slightly firmer than I prefer. The hotel and room had a strange odor to it. The room smell reminded me of a hamster cage smell. After turning on the air, thinking it was just due to humidity, it took on a fishy smell which was quite potent. It was not the worst place I have stayed, but far from the best. It was affordable on a tight budget, so I could not complain a lot. Packaged muffins and pastries for breakfast and weak coffee all day long.

We are glad that you chose to stay with us at Inns of Virginia - Arlington. We are sorry that you issues with the WiFi. We are currently working with a contractor to upgrade the equipment, add more access points and increase the speed so that we don't continue to have the issues that you experienced. Just to let you know, there is a switch on the wall by the light switch that regulates the outlets and the bedside lamps. I do apologize that no one shared that information with you. We hope that you will choose to stay with us again to see the improvements.

Nice motel/inn in Arlington. The rooms are comfy and well equipped with TV/microwave/fridge. Breakfast is basic with muffins, fruit, and danish pastry but there's coffee all day long. My stay was pleasant and smooth. The only downside is that the next metro stop is quite a walk but there's ample parking available if you're driving.

Nice hotel, great value!

Posted Mar 28, 2017
Cons: During our stay, the wifi was not working at all because of updating or something and our mobile data did not work well inside the rooms.
Location: There are two supermarkets close by, and Pizza Hut and a great Chinese takeout place next door. It's an easy hop into DC.
Family members met up for a long weekend in DC, and we had two adjoining rooms. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet (except for my grandchildren!). I had read in other reviews that the breakfast is packaged muffins, pastries, and fruit, and since we knew we wanted more than that we simply went to one of the nearby supermarkets and utilized the fridges and microwaves in the rooms. We used Uber to go into DC---reasonable price and convenient.

Reasonable in the City

Posted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: Easy to locate
Cons: Better breakfast options
Location: Great stores and restaurants nearby
This hotel is nicely located to the Metro and it is easy to access the city. Nice stores and restaurants are nearby. Only issue was the lack of pool.

Outdated, but good location

The hotel is older, and the continental breakfast is a joke. The location is good though. You get what you pay for.
