Anyone here?

Posted Mar 28, 2017
My 7 month pregnant wife and I stayed here for 1 night for a funeral service at Arlington National Cemetery. We drove 3 hours and pulled into the drive way and front door area. There was no one there. We parked and got out and started to retrieve our luggage from the trunk and unloaded it and walked into the lobby, after a guy saw us or woke up from a nap. There was no one at the front desk on the floor level so we were confused that we had to go to the 4th floor to check in.We did.Our room was not ready and we were told to come back by 2:30pm to be able to go up to our room, so we went to Georgetown and shopped, it was great.Got back to hotel at 3pm. Room was not ready and the lady at the front desk acted like it was our fault. She gave us no options at all.The only reason she gave us was that a "GOLD" member had our room and hadn't checked out yet.Gold members can check out whenever they want apparently. Keep in mind my wife is 7 months pregnant...The front desk then told us to wait by the bar, which we did, for another 20 minutes. No one came or offered us anything. I checked back with the front desk (same lady acted like she had never seen me before) and they moved us to a different room. An "upgrade" but I had a river view and the upgraded room had a view of the building next door. At least we were going up to a room. The valet service was non existent , until the last day. We had no bell service offered at all. $300 a night? There's other options.

Thank you for staying at our property and for your feedback. I want to apologize for the lack of service you experienced at our property. Our management team has corrected these issues. You should not have had to wait so long to get checked in and I am sorry that this happened. Our property takes pride in our service and I am sorry we fell short on your stay. Not worth the price plus parking.

The TV didn't have all the channels I wanted and, overall, it wasn't as nice as I'd hoped. The parking lot underneath was creepy.

I had a warm greeting at check-in. Slept comfortably. Had a soothing, relaxing bath. Great room service. A very pleasant stay.

Several public hairs on the bathroom wall when we arrived. Bathroom could use a good cleaning, particularly in the back of toilet , corners of gloors, walls, hair stuck in drain, yuck! Hotel refused to provide a cot for my daughter even though website says, available upon request. The manager said our room was too small.

Dear Christine, Thank you for staying at our property and for taking a moment to share your valued feedback. I am so disappointed to hear of the cleanliness issues you encountered; I assure you that what you describe is not to our stringent standards and is not the norm at our hotel. I have shared your comments with the appropriate departments so we may immediately improve our service. While roll away beds are allowed in king rooms, fire code restrictions do not allow them in two queen rooms. This is for the safety of our guests, and we are sorry we were unable to accommodate your request. I truly hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future for a stay that exceeds your expectations. Thanks, LMRoomsManager

Terrible service!!

Posted Jan 24, 2017 on Hotels
Terrible customer service! I booked a room on Hotels.com, and then needed to add a cot for one extra person. When I called they told me it would be no problem and that they would change my room to a 2 queen bed room. When I checked in, not only did they have no record of my change, they refused to let me cancel the room. I understand it was a busy weekend, but their attitude and refusal to help at midnight was beyond anything I have experienced before. To make matters worse, the service at the bar was slow, and the food was cold (even after I sent it back, it came back cold again). Also, my friend saw a roach in the lobby. Don't stay here!

Dear Veronica, Thank you for staying at our hotel and for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your request for two beds was not honored during a period of very high occupancy. We did our very best to accommodate all requests but were unable to guarantee a change in room type. While we are normally able to honor these requests, you stayed with us during an unusually busy time. I have shared your comments with the specific departments as well to make sure we do our best to find solutions moving forward. Thanks, LMRoomsManager

Wonderful Experience at Le Meridian

Posted Jan 24, 2017 on Hotels
I came with my daughter to experience the city. The Rossilyn metro stop was 1.5 blocks away and super easy to access the Mall and DC with. Could not have been easier and the parking was convenient, covered and inexpensive. The rooms were clean comfortable and perfect for our needs. Everyone on the staff from the front desk, valet and room service were so incredibly polite and accommodating I was incredibly impressed. I would absolutely recommend Le Meridian to anyone wanting to visit DC or the Arlington area.

Nice Hotel, Walking Distance From Georgetown

I had the pleasure of staying at Le Meridien. The hotel staff was very accommodating, allowing me to check-in a little bit earlier. The room was clean, spacious and as-advertised. I will definitely be staying here again.

Very Comfortable Stay

Posted Jan 17, 2017
Cons: A kettle in the room would have been great. This is common throughout Europe, and as a Brit I would enjoy a cuppa in the comfort of my own room.
Location: Located a very short walk to the metro stop, Starbucks, and a grocery store. Excellent location.
Arrived late and staff were very welcoming. Was upgraded to a bigger room without asking as a smoker had previously been in the room I was supposed to stay in. Room was incredibly comfortable, everything you would expect. Located a very short walk to the metro stop, Starbucks, and a grocery store. Excellent.

Such a nice, clean professional hotel and such a great price? Great location and so close to D.C. and the Arlington cementery and also close to the subway station.

Mom's getaway

Posted Jan 16, 2017 on Hotels
For my next stay, I will request a more resplendent view. My view was the side of an office building. The room was cozy and the bed was AMAZING. Although in an urban, office area, the hotel atmosphere and my room were quiet, relaxing and welcoming. The staff was professional and courteous. I received a mid-evening call from the front desk to ask if I neefed anything. When I left my room, I returned to find that the housekeeping staff had returned it immaculately to the state it was in when I first arrived...very clean and neat. Iverall, I'm very pleased with my stay and will return soon.
