Nice hotel close a metro station

Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, ample parking, good continental breakfast and close to many stores, restaurants, etc.

Nice clean motel near metro

This is a nice clean motel, 3 minutes walk to metro and 7 minutes walk to Walmart, which was really comfortable. Breakfast was nice, wifi worked decently and staff (Antonio) where super nice. Excellent for short stay

Pros: Location was convenient.
Cons: Modernize and repair.
Location: Lot's of shopping and restaurants.
I didn't feel safe. My door wouldn't latch without manipulation. There was a creepy guy standing outside my door smoking and he lingered in the area outside of my room for an uncomfortable period of time. The room was clean, but had an odor to it. The upholstered chair had a cigarette burn on it, but it is a non-smoking motel.

Close to my home office

Both of the courtesy drivers were the two best courtesy drivers I've ever experienced. They were kind thoughtful and professional. They were the only reason I did t complain about this stay. Unfortunately, I saw a bug in my first room and the wifi didn't work.

Travel for Business

Pros: Close to work; coffee is good when you can get it.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Near the Metro, shopping, and restaurants. There are two malls nearby and plenty of shopping. DC and touristy things are just a short distance away.
I travel weekly for business and have stayed at this hotel many times. Unfortunately, the quality has declined since I last stayed there a few months ago. Some things that disappointed me: Impersonal check in - I was asked for my driver's license, and given a key. I had to ask where my room was, and was told "around back". I asked which end, and was given a vague wave of the hand. I drove in the general direction indicated and after climbing stairs with my suitcase, I found that my room was on the other side of the hotel, facing the parking lot, although I was assured that my room was courtyard facing, as requested; Filthy room - large stain on the carpeting just inside the door; I always wear socks(never go barefoot) in the room, and my socks were filthy from walking on the carpeting. Noisy - the HVAC unit rattle every time it came on and the toilet ran off and on throughout the night. Coupled with the fact that I was facing the parking lot, on the highway side of the building, I didn't get much sleep during my stay. Basic amenities lacking - The fridge froze everything I put in it, despite turning it as far up as I could without turning it off, and I had two less-than-half rolls of toilet paper and ONE tissue in my room. (Thank God I didn't have the stomach bug that's going around...). Breakfast - I arrived for breakfast to find they were out of eggs and fruit and were nearly out of coffee and yogurt. I grabbed the yogurt, then was sorry I did--it was warm and watery.

The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast wasn't great and not many restaurants nearby. But overall staying here was a good experience, it was a clean and safe environment.
