Travel for Business

I travel weekly for business and have stayed at this hotel many times. Unfortunately, the quality has declined since I last stayed there a few months ago. Some things that disappointed me: Impersonal check in - I was asked for my driver's license, and given a key. I had to ask where my room was, and was told "around back". I asked which end, and was given a vague wave of the hand. I drove in the general direction indicated and after climbing stairs with my suitcase, I found that my room was on the other side of the hotel, facing the parking lot, although I was assured that my room was courtyard facing, as requested; Filthy room - large stain on the carpeting just inside the door; I always wear socks(never go barefoot) in the room, and my socks were filthy from walking on the carpeting. Noisy - the HVAC unit rattle every time it came on and the toilet ran off and on throughout the night. Coupled with the fact that I was facing the parking lot, on the highway side of the building, I didn't get much sleep during my stay. Basic amenities lacking - The fridge froze everything I put in it, despite turning it as far up as I could without turning it off, and I had two less-than-half rolls of toilet paper and ONE tissue in my room. (Thank God I didn't have the stomach bug that's going around...). Breakfast - I arrived for breakfast to find they were out of eggs and fruit and were nearly out of coffee and yogurt. I grabbed the yogurt, then was sorry I did--it was warm and watery.
