Great hotel! Would definitely stay again

Posted Feb 23, 2017
Pros: The pool and spa tub. Size of room and furnishings. Helpful staff, safe area.
Cons: Softer beds for those with a preference, perhaps? Offer pillow tops to people with conditions like RA. Fridge would be nice also.
Location: Safe hotel is near the Dulles airport. It's easy to get stuck in the one-way streets at the University behind. Just down the road is a grocery & eats
I booked this hotel for the night before I needed to check into the one where my conference was being held. The room was beautiful. I loved the dark furnishings; it had a very luxurious look. The front desk staff were helpful, and even walked down with me to explain how to gain entrance to the pool. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but my preference is a bed on the softer side. It was still a nice bed. No fridge, but I put my creamer for my coffee in the ice bucket. Went down to swim and get in the hot tub. Great pool and friendly lifeguard who turned on the jets for me. Ordered a burger and beer from room service for dinner, a bit overpriced, but tasted wonderful and waiter was excellent. The entire room was clean and there was a nice coffee maker with Starbucks coffee. Good, safe area with a grocery and a few restaurants close by. Good parking lot. Iron and board in room. Huge desk and nice TV. BIG walk-in shower. Very clean and comfortable, just need a little softer bed. I would definitely stay here again and put a pillow under my hip. On the night I stayed, the hotel was also very quiet.

Airport Sheraton

Posted Feb 15, 2017
Pros: I like airport Sheratons. That's why I stayed here. Free parking.
Nondescript, cookie cutter, airport Sheraton. Free parking. Free internet. A free bottle of water in the room.

Very convenient for airport

Posted Feb 1, 2017
My elderly mom had a 6:30am flight and it was supposed to snow overnight. My sister felt uncomfortable driving from our house to the airport in the bad weather so they checked into this hotel as a last minute decision late the previous night. The experience was excellent. They had an efficient checkin, clean room, friendly and very accommodating staff. The hotel ensured that the first airport shuttle was ready and left on time for my mom's flight in the morning.

The bed was comfortable.

Posted Jan 29, 2017
Pros: Shuttle to and from the airport was convenient.
Cons: Better preparation for a busy time (Inauguration & Women's March). Needs a face lift badly!
The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The public areas were shabby. The staff was overwhelmed during a busy weekend. When we asked for napkins at breakfast, we got a pile of cocktail napkins!

Half the lamps, a fire alarm and the remote control were all broken
